Yeah Genbu was actually possible by RDM, MNK and even weird combo such as SAM/NIN - yeah the lock out annoyed people, but sometimes sky is empty so best time to try.

I would like to solo/duo dungeons too. I wish they would remove the 4/8 person requirement. A lot of times i want to spam a dungeon back to back for drops. Makes it extremely annoying when I need 4 other people and it takes 30 minutes each time to get them.

Another great point. i seen a player trying to farm "First chest in the Aurum Vale", sad to say, he didnt have any luck with his party finder.

I didn't either :< I just wanted the battle mage set Qq

This one feels like you're running a lottery.

If you draw Alpha Couerl or Alpha Basilisk, it would definitely be possible.

Alpha Chimera, Alpha Morbol, Alpha Adamantoise, Alpha Snurble, and any Territorial spawns might overwhelm you if you are solo, due to the adds spawning. Keep in mind you have about 15 minutes to clear the monsters and open your chest.

Are we still talking about an MMORPG game?
It supposed to be a game for multiple players who interact and help each other.
We already have solo content and I think there will be more of it, but solo dungeons?
Even now it is hard to find people to play with, because a lot of people use Duty Finder, not making a cominnity.
We can have solo play in solo games.

I would love this. Chocobos are pretty pointless as it stands (as a companion anyway) this would be a nice way to give them a bit more use, while like you said letting you have a little alone time.

I like this idea from the OP.

Honestly though, it's because sometimes the random people you meet in this game are just so goddamn negative. Being able to make progress solo without having to deal with anything else that isn't FATE chasing or crafting/harvesting would be nice. The rewards don't even have to be anything astounding, Just the option to do things like this has its own appeal. Couple that with achievements and there's another great activity for people that want it.

Would love to see more solo content NM's and/or even bring back BCNM's - actually missed doing them for fun in-between farming runs lol

There are people who don't want mention of anything that might take this game off it's track to being a straight wow clone. FFXIV and FFXI are linked. There is even and NPC singing the FFXI song Distant Worlds the song at the end of the Final Fantasy XI Chains of Promethia.

On Topic. I would like to see some solo play with an equivalent to Maat fights and dungeons for players with their chocobos. I think this is a great idea. Maybe bring back some solo primal battles for summoners so they can summon different egis.
