Players interested in Solo Play.

Hello All,

Im sure sometimes you just want to relax and do something by yourself, without anyone interrupting. I like to live part of my MMO life as a solo player where im not tied down by other players or constant dungeons and group fights.

In FFXI whenever i am bored, i use to solo Sky god drops, or spawn Genbu(even if it took 1:30 hrs to solo him) and solo him, Solo Charybdis for my Joyeuse, Solo'd Bune on Red Mage for my Boomerang, even solo Adamantoise for that 0.1% egg drop.

Even in FFXIV, i use to solo Dodore(solo'ing this on THM was awesome) and bunch of other Level 80 Mobs that roamed the land.

It seems in FFXIV ARR, there is no mob higher than lv 50 and even they go down easy if i fight naked.

I would like to propose an idea to open up Dungeons for solo play.

A Place where i can enter with my SMN and my Chocobo and solo the entire dungeon like Dzmael Darkhold or Aurum Vale... or even WP and AK, whatever your skill can cope with.

I have patience, i want that accomplished feeling! Achievements!

Possibility of having DF active during solo dungeons? Maybe !

Edit: I see people mentioning that this is MMO RPG, of course it is, that does not mean everything have to be forced group play, sometimes you just want to unwind and relax, no pressure from others, just do whatever the hell you want and in your own pace.

How often you been in DF dungeon and no one utters a single word? start finish and gone... how is this socializing? this looks like playing with bots. What about fate? no one talks, they could be just NPC's playing with characters name.

A daily day in FFXIV ARR is currently lacking things to do, My coils are done on Monday, CT depends on my drop, so it could might as well be Monday, Myth gets capped trying to do CT and Coil(i have not done a group dungeon since 2.1). Only thing you have is the Daily Beast Quest, which takes about 5 mins to 15 mins.

*Chocobo Leveling
*Chocobo Equipments
*Achievements for doing it in different classes

I wouldn't mind a few special solo dungeons.
Then again, I wouldn't mind if they added mobs that were higher than lvl 50. However, I don't want a repeat of 1.0 where they had lvl90 mobs running around carelessly.

I would not mind anything... anything other than another DF with bunch of people wiping after 2 tries... i rather be productive and feel better about my understanding of the job and accomplish something.

Heck, most people finish their Coil on Monday and sit there shouting in Mor Dhona or just idle.

lol I personally done Dzmael darkhold all the way to final boss, i think a blm was with me thru someway. It was titan solo tank. But i would not mind the extra dps or cure or even tanking from my chocobo when SHTF.

Quit reffering FFXI to FFXIV they're different games. FFXI is over & done with. That aside I would love some solo dungeons

There is nothing wrong with quoting or talking about FFXI and FFXIV, to me both are final fantasy.

There are people who don't want mention of anything that might take this game off it's track to being a straight wow clone. FFXIV and FFXI are linked. There is even and NPC singing the FFXI song Distant Worlds the song at the end of the Final Fantasy XI Chains of Promethia.



On Topic. I would like to see some solo play with an equivalent to Maat fights and dungeons for players with their chocobos. I think this is a great idea. Maybe bring back some solo primal battles for summoners so they can summon different egis.

What wrong with quoting my experience?

This reminds me of my FFXI forum days. I'd go in and talk as an Experienced summoner and compare things with their ideas and what Summoner currenltly has, and I'd only get "Don't derail this thread into a Summoner thread!" replies. Usually about 25 of them, which was ironic since they all derailed the thread to whine about me. Sometimes it is better to just shut up, even if you are whiny.

Actually somewhat incorrect. If that was the case the game wouldn't have been torn apart in remade. It was changed BECAUSE it was like FFXI.
