It's like repair costs; either they're meaningful and painful (launch), or they're so trivial that they're more of an annoyance (now). Mobs aren't dangerous at all; even with Heavy, they're not going to come close to killing you. That just makes being forced to run through them in twice the time annoying. So either remove or reduce the duration/effect of Heavy or make it meaningful by making the mobs actually dangerous.
No, really, I find it sad that an adventurer can prance around in the elite beastmen strongholds with no repercussions. Some "stronghold."
