There's absolutely zero reason to balance rank 10-30 content to be suitable for rank 50s. Not only does that make zero sense, it also hurts said rank 10-30 people because it would then be too much of a challenge for them despite the fact it was initially designed for them.

Game balance in terms of MMO =

Content for low levels
Content for mid levels
Content for high levels
End-game content.

That's proper balance, improper balance would be making everything a challenge to rank 50 no matter if it's rank 10 content. That's just on a content level, balance in other means (skills, stats etc) is a different beast altogether.

The point is that things are so easy as it is, many of us don't have anything below R36 anymore. I don't feel like running through a dungeon 1-hitting everything.

Really it is balanced for 30's just because some want to be run through let them you can still go through normally and enjoy it. I dont know to many mmos who atm have capped mid game content. can u give me some examples?

Why is Kokoroon's Darkmail, Conquistador Elmo, Venerer's Bracers, Seer's Cowl, ect ect ect all best in slot even for R50 jobs atm? Why were Lv.22 Strider Boots, Lv.7 Leaping Boots and Lv.1 Cassie Earrings all best in slot for Lv.50-75 for YEARS after they were released? Just because it has the moniker of "Level 30 Dungeon" does not necessarily mean the gear is going to be replaced like in WoW. From XI that is not how SE has rolled the last 10 years.

Of course not. Since there's no way to delevel in XIV, people who are already higher level in all their classes are out of luck.

Has anyone considered that they might alter the level of the content in the dungeon based on the level of the players? The three level 30 players that bring their level 50 friend will have a hard time completing it when all the enemy levels are scaled up. If they want to bring in a party of four 50's to get gear for their lower level classes, that's fine because they'll still be challenged. The requirement on the dungeon is 30+, not 30-40.

It should be challenging to players at r25. The game has to have a challenge/learning curve to force players to learn their jobs strength and weakness and their role in battle. Otherwise, you'll have a mass of capped characters that don't know anything about this game. They don't know what mobs aggro, attack yellow mobs in behest/leves, or use skills like Seismic Shock on bats.
Players with R50's would want to play it perhaps to get gear for subs. But mostly its for the sake of accomplishment, exploration, and entertainment. Regardless, it should be a worthwhile experience instead of something a retarded monkey with one arm could figure out.

Well that's their problem, they certainly haven't been levelling all those classes to make things harder for them. You can't level every single class and expect to have fun with r25 content.
