actually the armory system that tanaka put in has been infinitely more fun to level jobs to be able to use the abilities than anything yoshi has put in game. the only people that have a 50 in the game that are still playing is due to the armory system to help advance their characters. they surely aren't playing to fight the new nm's yoshi put in game or the retarded nerf he did on the others.
if you want to go by what has been said as to why people left the game it is fact that they stated they left because they were bored with nothing to do in game. it is their opinion that caused them to leave, but the reason they stated is fact.
i don't care what you believe with your limited game time, but i am involved in multiple high level linkshells and i can tell you that the high level people that are leaving now are leaving from boredom. it is discussed all over in the linkshell chats and voice chat programs. if they get bored it's their opinion, but once they leave after stating they were bored with lack of content then it becomes a fact of what made them leave especially when they tell you.
i can name off many people that have left and the reason was lack of content, but i cannot name off one single person that said they were leaving for lack of auto attack. it may be a small sample as i only know a few thousand that played this game and the vast majority of them are gone now, but the overwhelming evidence is that they said they were bored and that caused them to leave.
Wait, I've something for ya: There you go.
If I say that Cornelia has 25% - of its population, it doesn't mean that Mysidia, Selbina, Gysahl and every other high-populated server has fewer population.
It's still a loss for that server though. Just... don't say that 25% of the entire playerbase is down please. It leads to miscommunication =)
no people always use a sample base for anything to give statistics. if 25% of one group feels this way or that way it is a good probability that they are not alone. if you use one server and say it lost 25% then yes not every server will be the same, but it will be a reasonable statistic to show.
some servers may have lost 5% and some may have lost 50%, but the truth is if one is losing it is reasonable to believe they are all losing. we could have said 40% of the playerbase left and that the 25% was the low end, but we used statistical data collected to base that stance on instead.
once you show a sample that shows that one server is not still losing members then yours could be used as a counter argument, but at this point that does not exist.
Old news. It's been tracing at about 10-15% lost per month steadily. counting 9 months of it, and you have a hefty answer to low numbers.
