playerbase down 25% in 4 months?

So apparantely someone made a post on the JP forums and made a lodestone crawler to check active players over the last 4 months, they found that around 25% have stopped logging on, even once in the last 4 month period from when they started scanning. Thats a large loss during free mode when they are still updating the game, that means those 25% didn't even bother to log in after updates to check stuff out.

LOL i wish i still did, but i quit like a year and a half ago so sadly my characters and my hundreds of millions are lost. I dont feel like starting over so F it.... Back to WoW i go till SE actually makes some decent changes that make me want to play this game again!

no thank you... I prefer my game to look good when I play it. it's 2011... XI is something I cannot go back to.

Reality check for some people on here maybe.

I see posts on here complaining about the lack of new direct X support and other assorted rubbish, the game is losing huge numbers of players in such a short amount of time, during free mode. I think reality should make people stop asking for stupid stuff when the game is dying so quickly.
