Then you did not read. Simple as that.
New? So what. They get the basics.
Doesn't matter at all? Let's just pretend that wasn't said.

Because tanking is easy...
What will change is your gear, your abilities, and hopefully your skill and knowledge of rotations. It is much harder for DPS to pull off of you as you level up. Even a perfectly played tank will lose aggro in low level dungeons, and that is fine, because nobody should be dying and you should be getting done with the dungeon quicker. After Haukke Manor, when you begin Brayflox/Qarn, the problem will solve itself. Before Haukke Manor, people just want to get in and out quickly. The damage DPS takes from mobs is perfectly healable.
Commendations give you vanity rewards.
Personally, I've found that level syncing can be the biggest factor in how easy or hard tanking is, especially with people playing on classes rather than jobs. I was doing halatali on my L32 Monk before, and the tank was a L22 gladiator or so. Needless to say, I had to literally play at half-speed in order to not take enmity, as my standard damage combo seemed to generate more enmity than the gladiators enmity combo (at that level). If the enemy was near death, then I would sometimes just take it in the last few rounds and rely on Fist of Earth (-10% dmg received) and Featherfoot/Second Wind to cover me. I would also have to frequently cycle targets to ensure I was doing damage all the time, but not taking enmity (as in, dealing damage on primary target until 5% off enmity threshold, then go to secondary target until 5% off, then third target etc.)
The tank in question was reasonably well geared as well, full L20 hq crafted gear, and they were using the right skills. But they still had nearly 20% less hp than me synced (I had around 610hp, they had 450 or so) and the above issues. Level syncing and job bonuses are just very powerful in low level duty roulette. As a comparison, my main is L50 Warrior, been playing it since launch and pretty much fully kitted out (just finishing off primals for weapon then 1 allagan acc.). I can be very lazy and not pay attention in low level roulette because there's just no competition for enmity 99% of the time.
The person you quoted is saying that when on their geared tank in low level roulette, they never have enmity problems. Before that, he is talking about his Monk alt, who can tank mobs in lowbie dungeons without an issue. Neither support your arguments.
Would help if you read posts thoroughly.
edit: Let me reiterate to you: losing aggro in Sastasha, TamTara, Copperbell, Halatali, Totorak, Ifrit Normal...is not going to cause your group to wipe. Yes the DPS can sit there AFK and wait for the tank to have aggro on everything, but not everyone wants a run to take twice as long. Instead, they will continue on with their rotations, take some damage, and in the end, finish a dungeon faster and without an issue.
I know, that's what "I agree" means. I snipped their quote for the specific reason of addressing a statement that highlights the problem that some tanks will experience in lower level dungeons because of roulette.
Your argument seems to be, "If you're losing agro because someone is preemptively pulling agro or not attacking the appropriate target, it's okay because it's just a low level and I/they want to finish 5 minutes faster".
My argument makes sense and doesn't need supported, I'm still not sure what yours actually is tbh.
this is wrong and right. if the dps and the tank left the healer alone yes you would have a much more difficult time with the monsters solo but of course we are talking about a all around bad group meaning dps and healer doesn't care making it a pointless effort in a sense more like after this i just use savage blade and stop tanking. :) there even better i get to dps and be lazy in the account of bad players and if since its out now vote kicked thank god i don't have to play with them. oh well win win if you ask me :)
