Once people are able to afford housing ill give it a week before the first few posts of how their not enough content for it knowing these forums lol
My FC has 8 players at 50, some of us with multiple jobs, both DoW/DoM and crafting/gathering jobs. No matter how you look at it, we have more than 3-5 people at level 50. Yet, we're not even close to being able to afford even a small house. Where exactly is Yoshi P getting these numbers?
Sorry if this sound stupid, but if the problem was the overflood in housing purchases, couldn't they just put on something like a buying queue?
Let's say they can handle 10 new houses each day.
They could just let people queue up to some kind of House Contract Seller with the face of Phil Dunphy and let 10 new FCs sign up everyday.
It's still a long wait, but at least with fair prices since the beginning. And with a Phil Dunphy PNG added.
Plus, having all the prices sink down at the same time, how will prevent flooding from happen anyway?
This is a good adjustment.

FWIW, a lot of us complainers are very careful to point out we don't want free.
But I have to say, those prices were quite a surprising shock to a legacy world player. All those single-digit millions!! (Ours currently range from 19M to 251M. And even if each FC member had an extra 1million, it wouldn't make up the price difference.) :(
Still way insufficient. Sorry. More like a placebo than anything else.
This is completely unfair to Free Companies who've already bought a house.
We decided, as a group together, to buy a medium-size house, because Yoshi-P mentioned in one of his posts the price were final.
There would be some drops in the prices, but not so much as he mentions now.
To make the prices drop so fast in the next 6 weeks, is just completely unfair. We just submitted a ticket and we would at least like our money back..
He already said that the legacy server prices were going to hit those levels at a certain point...
And, no offense, but if you bought a house at the current prices, you're part of the problem. So I'll be withholding my sympathy, I'm afraid.
