I didn't overlook it, the system hasn't been explained properly, after 90 days does the price remain at 50% forever? After 90 days, once a property is purchased, does the price then return to the original pricing? If after 90 days it remains at 50% forever then the system is pointless, if after purchase the price returns to it's original price then the figures are correct.

The concept that Yoshida had of "creating a lively community of neighborhoods" while simultaneously giving us the list of outrageous pricing boggles the mind. Most of us when we saw the housing back in beta figured we can be in our Free company housing for Christmas. We thought of taking a few months to decorate until they released the Airship building workshop which we figured was going to be an expensive proposition including all the parts to builld them. Now they mention they never had any intention of actually giving ALL FC's a fair shot at some piece of land for an appropriate price because they wanted us to farm???

Other MMO's have done variations on housing. Some gave it to us for free (a 1 room flat) others you bought according to the size of your house with maintenance costs and if you didn't pay that they can shut down your house. That alone could have fixed the issues.. but no.. they AGAIN screwed up and didn't anticipate that we'd want the actually move into the shiny new lands they have been teasing us for months. Some of us actually saved quite a bit thinking we might be waiting a couple of weeks to come up with the rest.. but a couple of months? At this point most of us are ditching the FC housing and saving for the sticker shock that is personal housing which I'm sure is going to be jsut as drastic. So much for "building a community".

it's an under statement, if we follow what they have said, the next patch will be in 3 month, it's like say, people we put housing now, but you can't use it before next patch... it's stupid.

This is all assuming everyone in the fc contributes all the gil they earn every single day to the fc bank. Sorry to say but my experience in this game has been that people are not that loyal to their FCs. Especially us progression FCs people hop around like crazy.

Only the most loyal members are going to contribute significant amounts of finances to a free company. Most will contribute none, especially in larger free companies. In close knit groups of friends, you will get higher contribution rates, but these free companies also tend to be small so nobody really wins.

Um ... I did ...

3 mths 20K gil per day......I can push up more then 20K per day, but I wouldn't be able to do other contents, help ppl out. I can go mining and stuff but it will just add more pressure to a already oversupplied market.

So what should I do?

The only market still relatively sure is are grade IV materia market. That seems to be under thread soon too, on my server.

correct , people wont donate all their gil for some house that enhances the playing experience minimally (unless you spend most of your playtime inside that house) , but i hope someone uploads a YOUTUBE video of a housing so i can experience it myself too at least in a passive way

It's all just stupid. And the sad part is so many of my members were looking forward to this patch and I bet I lose 1/4th to a half of them before we get anywhere near our goal. Some of them will probably ragequit in the first week of this crap. The rest will be gone before this '3 months of grinding' bs. If they were hoping to get more subs out of this, they were sorely mistaken. I saw the sneaky bit of my sub running out TODAY so I had to pay today in order to see what drops tomorrow, but how many people are going to sub for ANOTHER 3 months? Really? Really SE? It's getting pretty darned transparent.
