Dear Devs, when will this be fixed?

Hmm.. Here's my opinion. Thank you very much, Takeva, for making this known to the general public.

I was not aware of this bug, and will change my behavior (buy mists when I'm under 800 myth) for my 50 White Mage. I wish you all the best for your problem - hope SE takes a look at it and addresses it as soon as possible, because I do believe you.

Some people are set, molded and baked into their mindset and you cannot convince them, no matter how hard you try. If it's causing you any grief, I'd suggest not trying to convince them, as it's an exercise in futility.

Thank you for understanding, I'm not trying to be rude or even call you a liar. It's possible that this could have happened to you, I just don't want devs wasting time searching for a needle in a haystack and I'm bored while I work out of town in the evenings :P

I'm quite glad I could help. I'm really not upset. It's not the players I want to convince. I just want it looked into. Shouldn't take much time if it isn't a problem. Or just that support be informed and stop asking players to use their one-time item restore. Should tell them that the problem is being looked into or something.

How can anyone doubt it? The very first link has a screenshot proving it.

But is it? are there any videos demonstrating the bug in question? don't get me wrong, its not that I don't believe you, its simply that if it indeed is a prevalent bug, it should be easily repeatable and capture in video as empirical evidence that it isn't due to player fault, negligence or carelessness. I guess thats the argument some are trying to make.

But looking through the SS, it does seems rather odd, if it indeed is a prevalent bug, it needs to be fixed ASAP

I posted the original Reddit thread because I witnessed it happen to a friend of mine first hand. People need to acknowledge that it is not simply a coincidence that every single account of the bug involves a player receiving the same slot item. This is a very rare bug affecting a very small portion of the game's population. You're not going to get video proof because it is way too expensive to attempt to reproduce.

Plenty of people have managed to purchase their own Mist without issue, that doesn't confirm that it works 100% of the time. You are naive to think that your first hand experiences account for everyone else's in the world.

I believe that some of us wants to better understand how the bug manifests, we're chiming in with our experiences with purchasing myth items but it does not mean do not believe that some are plagued with the reported bug.

The best course of action now is to let the devs investigate it some either resolve the issue or be able to explain it.

Wow: it sucks that there is a person who got banned for just submitting the report...

This is why I got out of the gaming industry. Too much politics and bureaucracy obstructing cold, hard evidence. Now gainfully employed as infrastructure engineer where they leave you to your own devices most of the time...

Too many unknowns, we can't take everything on the internet at face value, without accompanying evidence, we cannot possibly be objective and arrive at a logical conclusion.
