If it was a melee DPS, you should have replied with, "Well is your TP less than 15% left? If not, then you're not pulling your weight either!" ;p Hopefully then they would have realised it was a silly statement. It's probably just a case of that person having never played a healer class.

I usually keep Stoneskin constantly up on me and each character who has less than 3000 HP, just to be sure fire columns won't be a big deal.
Did Ifrit 50+ times, never went under 90%, 80% during the last phase when people is really bad and I have to put a Medica II every once in a while.
Most of the time I just focus on the tank, I don't care about dpsing because if you can't kill a Nail without healers, then you are REALLY REALLY REALLY THE WORST PLAYAH EVAH.
Maybe I will use a DoT in Extreme Mode ;)
