SE, Please slow down on swinging the NERF bat!

Even on their kill bg had like 4-5 deaths to twisters, it's more of a bugfix than a nerf, even if you did them absolutely perfect before, you'd still die 10-20% of the time. If bg had found some tactic that worked 100% and they had a flawless kill, it'd be one thing, even the best methods only worked 80-90%.

its a bug-fix, does it make the fight easier? yes, but it was artifically hard before due to this mechanic being borked. Also the fights not easy, beat her first then complain. All these armchair warriors who haven't even done coil have no idea.

I totally determine my self-worth based on being the first to down content in a video game. I think everything should be made hard to the point that only if you have all of the add-ons, farmed gear, watched all the videos and read the strats, and spent one year day-in-day-out dying to it that you can finally clear it. And you should have a special 14k gold mount that no one else in the game can ever get so you can bounce around in Mor Dhona and remind people how great your group was at the game before content was nerfed. And since I think nothing should be nerfed, I also think that only this high end guild should get the keys to the next instance and other end-game, because, you know, logics. And I think that the only way any of us should see or play the content is if we do the same as them (but since most of us aren't as awesome, we will never see it), or watch their videos, or pay them 500k gil for a carry run.

INB4 years of forum posts "rofl baddie scrub you didn't beat twintania pre-nerf" just because one group did ♥

Lol wow so much hate. Guys I'm not saying the fight is super easy now (far from it), or that the kills now are worthless. ALL I'm saying is I personally would have liked a little more time to try it pre-nerf, that's it. I like a challenge. That isn't to say it isn't still challenging, just not AS challenging as it was.

Not a single word was shoved into your mouth. Your eyes, maybe, but not your mouth. I was addressing many other people who shared the quoted sentiment above. It's the elitist attitude in an MMO. We all pay the same amount for the game, therefore it is to be expected that we will all have access to the game. Some disagree.

Your $15 a month entitles you to absolutely nothing but access to your character and the servers. If you think that means you get the have equal gear and experience the same content as people that have been working for it, then I'm sorry but not even Yoshi agrees with you. The only part of the game they intend to be accessible by EVERYONE is the main story. Everything after that is gated, and you need to progress through it to see it.

I agree with you.
I've been progressing through the game pretty slowly so when I hear about things getting nerfed I get a bit disappointed because I never got to experience the original difficulty. I don't know if I would have been able to do it, probably not, but I at least wanted to TRY it.

Supposedly they are going to be nerfing older content when newer content comes out as well, which means I need to go a bit quicker than I have been.

What else can they nerf? The game is already piss easy.
Thy nerfed solo instance from Beta. We can all breezes through Storyline and Class quests.
I do wanna challenge sometimes...Coil should help. Maybe it'll be a real head scratcher for once.
I also hope 2.1's CT is worth a go too.

I never said anything about being handed gear and wins. That'd defeat the purpose of playing the game too. I don't have the entitlement complex here. People thinking the content should be tuned to their 24 hour a day play style such that only they have a chance of clearing the content is an entitlement issue. They pay 15 dollars, too. They don't deserve any more than I deserve.
