You must have forgotten the PC gets the DX11 client also. Not to mention the ps4 is just another low-mid end PC spec wise so don't ever expect it to look better than the PC version.

Color me wtfpwn'd? Why would sony release their console last in their home territory?Quote:
The PlayStation4 is releasing in the USA on 11-15-2013.
The PlayStation4 is releasing in the EU on 11-29-2013. (2 weeks after USA)
The PlayStation4 is releasing in Japan on 2-22-2014. (3 MONTHS after USA and EU)
Well let me explain my reason for this post. I am currently and all ways have been mainly a PC gamer. However I do plan on changing to console gaming. Reasons being i'm fed up with having to upgrade my PC every so often, Not being able to sell of a used PC game if I don't like it because most games have to be registered online now, Frankly PC gaming isn't what it used to be. If I switched to a PS4 I could still play FF14, Be able to get some money back on games I didn't like, and wouldn't have to upgrade components every so often. MY plan is to go PS4 ditch my PC and replace it with a good tablet.
The PS4 quality should be in the range of the current high end PC, so that would be fine. The controls are different though adaptable. I also heard they are considering allowing the PC interface on the PS4, in which case if they do that you could literally just swap.
You can't trade this game, because the code is keyed, but for other games you have a valid point.
From my standpoint I don't see anything wrong with your plan. Though you might find you are happier with a netbook then a tablet, for posting on forums on the like.
I'm aware that FF14 is a non tradable game I like it very much even when it was 1.0. I planned on getting a Microsoft Surface 2 tablet for all my internet browsing and media need's. It's just a shame FFXIV won't be on XBOX ONE because my surface tab would work in conjunction with it.
