Anyone Sad about the games Decline

I think you need to understand, the forums is not the best place to base "everything" off of. Not everyone uses the forums and not everyone is required too. This has been stated multiple times to multiple people. It is the same for any MMO, the forums is a great place to share information but it is definitely the worst place too look for how the game is doing or for reviews. Alot of times, people use this place to report technical difficulties, share information and yes, complain because there is no other place they can leave a large complaint. So it is very common in all MMOs to see complaints on the forums.

It seems every MMO has people predicting the games death, describing the current stage of the game as an epoch of decline which is of course brought about for the reasons that they find problematic. Interestingly enough, despite their best efforts and despite the "I quit this game and so should you!!!" threads, none of the MMOs seem to have died yet, perhaps except GW2.

Like Lucille said, if you enjoy a game, play it. If you don't, don't. But if you pay for a game, whine about how terrible it is and continue paying for it then the joke is on you.

Me thinks you were not reading the forums for the first month as there have always been long lines for damage dealers in the df.

Can't read, can you? I didn't say "people standing in town" i said "people crafting". They're all doing something. Generally, the other people I see are doing stuff, too. They're doing FATEs, running leves, all of that.

I'm not sad about the game's decline because it isn't declining.

Friend of mine and a bunch of other guildies left yesterday. I suppose it's about that time.

I think this game is doing well for casual players, but not for raiders(people not interested in multiple classes, crafting or gathering). I think this might be the first game in sometime where casuals generally play more per week then 'hardcore' players.

Its not even been 2 months. The only thing about this game that bothers me is the incessant whining.

I read the forums but I was busy doing the dungeons as my Arcanist on day one and not have long queue times (Arcanist is a DPS) :p Longest I ever waited was 20 minutes and that was for stone vigil. The times started getting longer because SE started breaking the worlds up in which the DF selects which started to increase the wait times significantly.

As said, even if people "don't do/like" certain content, if everything truly was as crowded as people say there wouldn't be as long of a wait for certain things as there is just on a probability level.
