I enjoyed this post. Nice to read something from a passionate Final fantasy fan.

I agree with most of the post, except for using chocobos during combat.

FFXIII had chocobos on Cocoon and Pulse as well as the baby one in Sazh Katzroy's afro. On Pulse they had crazy dreadlocks coming out of their cheeks: http://www.ps3attitude.com/wp-conten...9498069296.jpg.

Agreed 100%. I think people are too quick to jump on anything other than Chocobos because they're afraid. They don't want the obnoxiously ridiculous shit we see in WoW, to which I agree. However I don't think the developers would take it to those extremes honestly. If we get other creatures as mounts they'll be only the versions we have in-game, no ridiculously stupid modifications. At most we'll get to add some armor to them. I think that's honestly fine and fits well within the realm of tasteful in FFXIV.

I would like the Chocobo's to have the ability to cure themselves like they did in FF Tactics

yea cause creating an account takes 3 minutes and his hilariously delusional essay on chocobos probably took days to write. you fail at math and logic and i pity you for your failed attempt to even defend this. but that's just what i expect from this lame community to be honest, lots of white-knighting and carebears. partly for these reasons, this community can also share the burden for the poor state of this game.
