OP, I am gearing for titan HM now. I have beat Garuda and Hydra so Titan and Coil are all the challenging content that remains for me currently. There are more experienced players than me but this is what I recommend for gear requirements:

Castrum, Praetorium - AF gear and iLvL 44 weapon
Ifrit HM, Wanderer's Palace - AF gear and iLvL 55 weapon
Garuda HM, Ampadoor Keep - mix of DL/AK/AF gear and iLvL 55 weapon
Titan HM - mix of DL/AK gear and iLvL 70 weapon

I think most people will agree there's not much of a gear requirement for CM, Prae, Ifrit, and WP. You should farm these dungeons for better gear first then move on to the later content. However, jumping into Garuda or Titan because you don't want to wait anymore isn't smart IMO. For example, I have around 4700 HP (out of party) as a tank in Garuda so I am perfectly capable of off-tanking there, maybe even main tank but I am still learning the fight and usually get bad DF teams. If the group fails Garuda now, I am usually not the weakest link. Nonetheless, I have only beat 1 out of 15 Garuda HM attempts with DF players because they are under geared and don't know the fight. I have never been "elitist" or anything in my ARR journey up to this point. I have never left because players are under geared or new. However, I might be dropping out of Garuda if we wipe more than once now because of the most common problem: poorly geared DPS. Please continue trying to gear up in the entry level 50 content before you progress. It's sad that people aren't accepting you because you can't speed run as fast but you will experience even more frustration and cause more frustration if you queue for higher level content like Garuda and Titan.

Not once have a I heard a group just saying LFM DPS.

All required lvl70-lvl90 equipment. Pretty damn sad thats the state the game turned into.

Do it with FC... so your FC is now your full time slave? THinking they'll run whatever you want, whenever you want it? Stupid thinking.

Elitists have taken over the game now, because in chat, you're now required to have relic and DL for ANYTHING.

While I agree with you in theory, we have to understand that it is their prerogative to shout whatever they want. I finished off Titan yesterday and will have my relic and +1 soon. I probably will still just DF my groups (unless I am running it with FC) because I prefer to vary the jobs with which I run the dungeons and I like to level DoL and DoH while waiting for a group.

Yes the attitude is sad but hey until you start paying for someones subscription you have no right to tell them how to play.

It should be more about your gear quality being appropriate enough for the content. I queue up DF Titan and see people wearing AFs and ilevel 40~50 gears, they are pretty much setting themselves up to fail because you won't have enough survivability to last the P5 stomps. I'm actually glad SE will be implementing ilevel checks in certain DFs to settle this once and for all.

BTW you don't need any DL piece for CM/Prae/WP/AK, but you need to be a competent player and learn things quickly because the margin of error with lesser ilvl gear is smaller. Also have some decency and make sure you're wearing at least high level 40 gears on all slot. They are mostly under 5K on the market board and it will take time to replace them anyway.

WP drops ilevel 55 gear, and AK drops Ilvl 60. You don't need i70 gear to beat any of the place that was tuned to gear up people with i40~i55 gear. But bad players with moderate gear leave a bad impression for the other "under-geared" with their slow dps and wipes on Flan/Wall boss.

People asking for DL gear for WP/AK want to clear things faster, and there's nothing wrong with that. But people claiming you need some i70 to clear AK regardless of speed is taking the piss. Do you need i90 gear to start coil?

Actually, not once have I required people to be in DL/Relic. I take plenty of friends(one with good attitudes) to runs, including Titan carries.
but you go ahead with that attitude of yours. I'm sure people will be thrilled to help you.

Aren't the more experienced people teach people how to do it or at least give pointers I know I am not perfect and I am a casual player been playing since beta took me some time to get to 50 cause But yes I do try to upgrade my gear but don't see the point sitting 3 hours to do one run on early runs and I think ak is really a early run cause I have done it it wasn't that hard just need pay attention

I am nice to under-geared fresh 50s as long as they know how to play their role competently, but I have no time for people who can't carry their weight and expect others to share the burden. They had like 10 dungeons pre-50 to figure out most of their rotation/priority and their poor play is just an obvious waste of my time.

I always give briefs on each bosses and share tips, but at the end of the day I expect them to learn it quickly (2~3 wipes) and they have their job/class/role fundamentals down. The cockblocks in WP and AK are due to skill issues more than gear.

While I don't require DL, I do greatly prefer it. Also if you not being a complete idiot helps me stick around. What I do check for is to make sure you have lvl 45+ jewelry and ideally at least GC weapon. Did have an under geared summoner end up in my party. She had bare minimum gear and a white weapon, and I feel she did more dps than some DL summoners.

As of 2.1, a system will be introduced where you will be able to state if you are looking for people to: clear the story, learn the fights, or speedrun. This way people will be able to run with other link-minded people. This should remove most of these problems, as well as the "i want to watch CS" ones. Obviously if people try to get into the "grownup" group with crap gear they will be yelled at, but at least it will be for a reason -- if they are still gearing and not have gear for speedrun, them trying to sneak in will be entirely their fault.

I had a tank in AK with full AF, white ilvl 46 sword I think it was, shield about the same. Not sure about accessories.

Went decent up until last boss, there healer grabbed hate because tank took too much damage. Us DPS had to hold back a lot. I checked to see how much damage we could do, and we would not have been able to kill it before all pillars where gone.
Well, we might have been able to do it eventually, but after 8th wipe and no improvement, me and the other DPS left.

There is no reason why someone who has dinged 50, hasn't gone to the market board to get most of the fairly cheap ilvl 55 items.
