I'd let Liam look at my numbers. :o
I'm sorry, that was cringey and I don't mean it.

It doesn't feel like an attack. It's only surprising to see this from you.
(but I do need to say I'm not trying to draw any link between the faux legend and my logs. It was straight from the other legend tank that stuck around for the retell and saw the mistakes that were made. People should be mad at those that give legends a bad name, not me. anyway...)
I appreciate it and I'll consider it. Obviously, I don't use that tool. I've seen one or two links. I didn't know I had a history, but I'll look into it. I do try to use everything as much as possible and keep an eye out for the best times. I also realize when I've made mistakes. I try to save expedient for things like eruptions and orbs. Beyond that, my shielding seems to cover things well enough.
I've had little trouble when healing this and seldom have difficulties healing or filling another role. It's PF, so shit happens. I've only seen enrage with maybe one or two groups since this started and I've been going every week.
I would aim past that, but frankly I had my fill for a while after dealing with BLU savage. Scheduling and personalities is more than I care to deal with at the moment. If I consider going back to savage or attempting ultimate, I'll be sure to check with folks.
Do you ever feel like people are out to get you? Obviously they're not, that's crazy talk but when you spend your daily roulettes getting crushed between other people's spread markers or getting rescue sling shotted away from the team by the healer while you have a stack marker... it feels that way. It really does.
Joined a PF group where people needed help with p4s clear. I got invited to VC and joined in as not to be rude but I said it two times that I wont be talking, I was there to only listen. They said its okay. I was expecting normal callouts.
But after 3 pulls I started regret it. It ended up becoming the most uncomfortable call I have ever had, even more than an actual job interview. They tried to get me to talk when I have said specifically I wont talk on mic especially when it has nothing to do with the content. No, I dont care about how much did you drink in your friends birthday party.
First they tried to be funny, then they teased me for being nervous, "dont be shy", etc (I was not, I just couldnt be bothered and wanted to kill some time by playing a video game, I wasnt there to socialize). Then when it all failed and I still didnt talk, I think someone was actually flirting with me, or with my character, or both, with their friends urging "Go on, send them a friend request after the raid" it made me want to turn my PC off right there and then.
I ended up just muting my sound, enjoying the fight with no "background noises". Then after around 30 mins we still couldnt get past phase 1. Someone left, I think they had enough of it, followed by me, instantly. You think Goku instant teleportation is fast? think again. The moment the RDM left (thank you RDM), I pressed Leave button as fast as humanely possible.
Why is it so hard for people to understand that not everyone wants to talk with any strangers they met? it takes time for me to even want to chat in game with someone. Let alone talk in VC.
Lesson learned. Screw PF discord VC.
I'd have left that party sooner TBH. Not to blame you though.
It is not rude to leave a call/ group like this, especially when you are the one who wants to help.
"Gtg, my cat self combusted again" and you are gone.
But when you want to stay then you always can just lie to them that they hopefully stop bothering you. But best would be to just leave.
Yeah, people like that are why i "dont own a mic". Honestly, id rather not hear other players voices while im playing most of the time. It breaks my immersion, lowers my fun... and some of yall just grate on my ears. I deal with enough people at work, during my ME time i want to be more selective. Will i join a call? Reluctantly if i must. But unless i know AND like you, youre getting my stock answer that i dont own a mic and do not have the ability to be participating in the chat. If we're actually friends then you know all of that, plus that plugging the mic in annoys me(the lie wouldnt work if the mic was plugged in and i accidently coughed or something) - but we're friends so ill do it for you because that makes you special.
That's one creepy af experience. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
I would insta-leave the moment they nudge for an answer if I were in your place.
Yep. Actually another reason I won't do savage in PF, or look for a static or whatever.. I don't like using my mic either with anybody I don't know well. It's awkward, uncomfortable, and most people are grating to listen to, cringe, or plain annoying.
No mic plugged in either, but I have one. It's been in the box since I bought it. :p I haven't talked on the mic with someone (other than a family member), since.. 2018 I think. Maybe 2019.
I did a full run of POTD and joined a discord. I was happy to get my first clear, but damn that was noisy ;_;
I'll admit, when my group PFs savages we *do* send in discord links for callouts (yes, actual callouts). But we never pressure anyone to even join, it's just a "hey we're doing callouts here if you want to join in, but it's k if not because we can just use the text box to let you know which strats we're using". And if they do join, it's cool. We continue on as we were (we have injokes but we never pressure anyone to participate, because ultimately we're there for callouts and when we need to we clear comms so we just hear our raid leads voice).
Anyone who pressures someone online to speak or join a call, makes them uncomfortable etc, is welcome to go stick their head down an ant-hole.
Orbonne just now. I was on my RDM, tank was dcing over and over, last boss every single member of my party except myself died. What luck I was on RDM. No commendations though. :p
Had to heal myself often with vercure as well due to the tank. At least I was able to share that responsibility with one other DPS.
Last night, counting roulette as Sage put in in Arboretum Hard, and it went incredibly smoothly. Had a newbie along for the ride and I think it may have been the BLM (out of a BLM, a SGE, a BRD, and a GNB) because on the last boss, they failed the mud geyser mechanic twice. When it happened a third time, I took it upon myself to Rescue them from the grating and onto solid ground. They didn't fail that mechanic again. In the end I only got two comms but I think one of them may have been from a grateful BLM.
Got SoS normal tonight in my trial roulette and I did the bad. :(
We had a lot of new people in the run, and so before the QTE started, I had typed 'mash, mash, mash' in chat. And then I somehow reopened the window and proceeded to do all of my mashing in the chat box instead. Not my finest moment. lol.
One thing that always makes me laugh on alliance raids: Tanks not pulling adds. It almost always happens on ARR raids and that always ends up with a few DPS and/or Healers dead
btw, Parsers need to chill out and mind their own damn business. Some people get a little too wound up over those that aren't even on the same Data Center. I'm minding my own, enjoying the game, running my weeklies, not ruining anyone's run. Leave me be. Consider taking a break from the game. Touch grass. Get touched. I don't care. Just leave me out of it :D
TBH while you may not be ruining people's run, you're not... exactly... pulling your own weight.
69% uptime means you're not casting something more than 1/4th of the time.
You're overhealing.
Not making use of Aetherflow.
Not using your defensive cooldowns almost 80% of the time (Whispering Dawn was used 2 out of a possible 8 times, Fey Illumination 2/4 times, Recitation 1/5 times, Seraph 1/4 times, Protraction 1/8 times and you never used Expedient)
You only use Biolysis half the time
You cancel casts and I don't think Quadruple weaving is... a thing.
Robyn has the right of it. Parsing isn't about numbers, most of the time. It's about figuring out where you need to improve. I'm not telling you to parse, but I will say try to take this information and work on it.
This was your best log, btw.
I'm just in awe right now.
Did my Expert Roulette and got Stigma Dreamscape. Whole group besides me was in i600 gear(I'm only i590 :c) and they knew what they were doing. I've never cleared that fast before. My Inner release(primal rend + 3x decim) was actually still on CD between groups of mobs. Healer didn't really have to do much but DPS(and they did, aaaaaaa). We even skipped the adds on last boss and just wailed on it. Every boss was cleared in one cycle.
I'm not joking though, normally I can run through 3 CDs of Orogeny which is about a minute and a half worth of a pull clear and I'll be top damage as a tank. It felt soooooo good seeing not just one but both DPS out performing for once.
Then don't attack other people. Quite simple.
Remember you started the whole thing by attacking someone who's first few Unreal runs weren't up to your standard just because they had a Legend title, despite you performing far worse. No one log hunts nice people who just do their own thing and no one is looking for a fight. You can play the victim, or you can be humble, learn from it (there's good advice above), move on and people would respect you more.
People not waiting for sprouts when they are asked to wait in Ally raid.
It is true we only had 1 sprout, it is also true that the sprout most likely will run that content several times if they stick to the game....
But it was said in the ally chat that the person is watching cs and is a srpout...
Yet we had multiple people shittalk and some even said "no one cares". Do you think this will make the sprout stick to the game?
Is this the typical single child selfish entitlement or wut? Dude, you are playing a video game, which is obviously the most productive thing to do in the whole world right? SMH.
If you have the mentality of another person wasting your time for a max 30 sec long CS then you need to rethink how you evaluate what wasting your time is and what being a selfish lil bastardos is.
Not to mention, we all died on final boss cause of greed... that clearly was not a waste of the valuable time, right? (Jees if yall so fucking familiar with this content yall should know which is the exact percentage up until you can greed and from which you cannot... but I know, numbers are hard)
Dzaemal Darkhold. Trying to tank full pull to first boss, but healer won't bring the single scraggler, constantly puts regen on me before pulls (which makes the last room harder to keep contained) - so I have to manually click it off, standing outside of purple so they die to flyer. After the second attempt one of the DPS leaves, so I was free to leave without penalty. Shake my head.
honestly, i'm sick of the mentality of "skip the plaques" in Qarn. it doesn't actually save enough time to be worth removing the actual fun part of the dungeon.
Wasn't Totorak a hallway before though?
That's the one with the orb keys, right? I know they removed a lot of the ground AoEs that were present in one part of the dungeon but I might be mistaking toto-rak for the dungeon that has the FFX style orbs and pedestals assuming they are two different dungeons, lol.
