The ZBrush models you see are a Work In Progress. The colors you see are mostly for aesthetic purposes so the designer's eyes don't bleed after staring at a grey blob all day, and the final textures will more than likely end up being a lot similar to what is shown in the original concept art. YAY!

Even with that said, works in progress are just that, and as the work progresses, Yoshi-P may have an epiphany and decide to give her a second head, convert one of her legs into a machine gun, and rename her Jezebel (hopefully not, though... At least the second head part...)

Either way, I apologize again for the confusion, and in future Dev Blog posts, we'll make sure that works in progress are properly tagged and branded.

Idiot, it's a normal map Zbrush model. There's more than enough info in the blog post to indicate the model is NOT. COMPLETE. It has yet to have actual textures applied.


I'm sorry, I try so hard to be reasonable. But please. Please please please please. COMPREHEND what you READ. Do you even know what zbrush is?

Soon enough they'll stop leaking works in progress because it attracts so much negativity because people, for some reason, Think they're finished.

The fact that Fernehalwes had to even come in here to reassure everyone that it's a Work in Progress is just incredibly annoying to me.

Some of the posts on here are so uneducated. If you don't know what zbrush, "high res character model" "normal maps", or WORK IN PROGRESS means, what the hell are you thinking then? "I hate the way she looks, the concept art is way better!"

Are you kidding me?

I have a feeling you people just looked at the picture and didn't even read the post. Even then it should be obvious that it's incomplete.

These are the same people that complain when we don't get any info. We don't get info because things aren't done. When we're shown things that are incomplete, The dev team gets negative responses. It's a lose lose situation for these poor guys! They just can't catch a break. It just baffles me. The work in this Shiva model is outstanding. It's a lot of work to get it to where it is now. Which reminds me. The people saying "I guess she's okay." Do you know the work that goes into this?
