Is anyone else really disappointed with the nerfs coming in 2.2?

No, its not even that, its XIV ARR.
1.0 even had more challenges then the current game. Despite the flaws, scarily enough it actually was better then this crap.

As for reality, last I checked life doesn't get nerfed because it is too hard. If you want to make something of yourself then it requires hard work, effort & time.

I understand & even agree that some content needs adjustment for almost any reason other then player skill: IE if 60% of players cannot get past Titan x plumes because of lag, PS3 limitations, or is too complex for the average 16 year old kid (this is a game after all) then by all means lets fix it.

When a 2x+ says the bees are too difficult, I cant tell when the wall is going to 'repel', I cant pay attention for 10 min(generous there fyi), or my favorite: 'I just wanna mash the buttonz & get lootz!', then too bad.

As a society, we need to stop rewarding lazy and stupid.

Yeah that's basically where my guild is with Titan EX. We've worked hard to get to the final rotation, and when we beat it that win will reflect hard work not a handout. I would still argue that the real issue for a lot of people is lag, and if that issue was fixed there would be more people clearing it as it is today. We have good players, but when half the pt is getting lag spikes and missing simple dodges as a result the content is non-functional. Personally that upsets me more than someone making a mistake.

Last I checked 1st world problems are hilarious.

Welfare check
Winning the lottery
Get in an accident
Marrying into a rich family

None of the requires hard work nor effort and time is so questionable it ain't even hilarious.

I wish people would also note certain things like for example Titan, some people have to deal with latency, and sure you can work around it and some people don't even think it's real, but it still does exist no matter what some oblivious people may believe. It just makes Extreme Titan way more extreme than needed.

But the most important thing: Just because a person has not cleared content does not mean that THEY are not good. It means they have not found 7 other people that are good. I know a few people bashing their head in sadness over their party not surviving fights to get their relic for example. Whip up a party for them, they survive from beginning to end and do their job really well. It never was their fault at all that they didn't win.

Throw in the usual Party Finder "must have won previously" comments which those people can not join without lying, they have a REALLY hard time getting that winner party.

Why should we push to beat Leviathan? In 3 months you're just going to make it easier right? Wait till then, do it the easy way and get the same rewards as people who worked really hard to beat it.

Yeah I didn't do Coil either. I tried the first turn once, people said I can come without prior information, "it'll be really easy." I usually check out things beforehand but since I had never had any plans to do Coil I had no information on this. So yeah then I am given no advice or contradictory advice and only get yelled at and very frustrated. Not to mention the sheer genius of advice like "feed the slimes." I asked people if they like salad. Seriously, that sentence means nothing if you don't have context. Might as well tell me to fluff the pillows on the next fight.

Very happy we can soon do it in Duty Finder. :)

I have no problems with the 'nerf' to the hard mode fights through the echo coming in, or a problem with part of the Pharos Sirius nerfs considering some of that place is just brutal for that ilvl (it feels like it should be a higher ilvl). But nerfing AK...REALLY!? You're nerfing one of the easiest endgame dungeons, one that is already hard to fail if people are halfway decent at their classes!? That's taking it too far, you might as well downgrade it to a beginner dungeon then.
