Oh, I completely agree with you and I wasn't trying to defend them for it, because it frustrates me too. That was my whole issue with the anti-Shinryu threads, most of those mechanics have been seen before so aren't THAT hard.... xD

It's just that, often in this game if people manage to scrape through something doing the mechanics incorrectly, they'll continue to do them incorrectly because it worked first time around. Shame. :(

Well, first horror story to share in a while.

Keeper of the Lake. I'm dusting off AST to get myself a healer at level cap and so I can decide which role I actually want to focus on (as I have a tank and a dps at 70 now). We begin, aggro is all over the place. The DRK is not using Unleash at all, and I notice he doesn't have Grit or Darkside on. I prompt him several times to at least put Grit up, which he eventually does right before the first boss.

He then proceeds to dance around the boss like he's a rogue in WoW PvP. The poor MNK and DRG are not only getting screwed out of their positionals since the tank is being so errattic, but they're also randomly being cleaved. Progress into the dungeon is slow, as the DRK is only using Unleash at complete random, and never at the start of a pull. I end up tanking all of the adds on the second boss while the two DPS valiantly attempt to deal with them. DRK is off in lala land still dancing around the boss. He turns Grit off sometime between this and the final boss, and the MNK has given up and is using Fists of Earth since he ends up with threat more often than not.

MNK successfully tanks the final boss. DRK was dead last on threat the entire fight. I witness him pop living dead at max health, and he also randomly decided to limit break at some point as well. I accidentally derp up and die as I'm targeted for several AoE attacks while typing something (which serves me right), but fortunately the second dragon was almost dead and the two DPS were able to finish the encounter from there.

This DRK had every class at 60 or higher, with a 70 SAM and NIN. He was a mentor. He said nothing the entire run. It is my first encounter with a terrible mentor, and now I see why such types are so disliked amongst the community. Not a peep out of him the entire run aside from him saying hello. It's also the first time I've actively suggested someone go to the hall of the novice after the run in order to learn the basic elements of their role. Sadly, I doubt he will.

Shoutout to that MNK and DRG for picking up that guy's slack and still managing to take down the bosses in a relatively timely manner without positionals.

I had a DRK in another roulette, 8-man, who would randomly use Living Dead. I think it was during one of my Mentor roulettes yesterday, go Ultima's Bane(I went as RDM)...so you know it's going to be interesting. Long story short: Leveling RDM, I got Haukke Manor (NM). The tank was new, he started saying "Hey, guys. I'm new. I'm open to advice! n.n". I was like "neat! finally a person that won't rage at me for helping them with tips". Then he proceeded to ignore every single piece of advice I gave to him. I'm so done, lol.

I think my brain went into a deadpan state when I realised the sort of run I was in for, and critical thinking switched off.

I'm seeing a lot of people with stories about tanks not in tank stance. My tanks in Royal Menagarie were both PLD's in Shield Oath but somehow after the active time manuver portion one of them would be completely unable to regain aggro on the boss.

For the duration of the fight.

I was on WHM with an AST cohealer (who was lovely) but with 1 new tank and 3 new DPS I held the next threat spot with all the AoE healing I was doing. That meant me taking the green laser auto attacks constantly.

We cleared the second time through, our DRG who was really geared out definitely helped by making sure I at least didn't see any Ahk Morns. He even managed to grab some of the auto attacks from me each time I popped LD.

Thank you to that AST and DRG, I wish I could have comm'd you both.

Omega Deltascape, V4. I'd only ever been in there once before. I technically knew the mechanics in my head, but keeping on top of them in real time while healing and taking care of everybody else was still something I was getting used to.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't performing terribly well. I was clumsily getting caught in a few AoEs. There were a few times that I'm not convinced were entirely my fault, perhaps lag was kicking in. But anyway, about halfway through the group's first attempt, the other healer declares in Party chat: "Friel, you are literally the worst I've ever seen."

Um, what? I don't even bother to respond, as we are mid-fight and I have better things to do.

Eventually, we all wipe, due to a number of factors -- people are falling off the edge of the platform, getting caught repeatedly in AoEs, etc.

Then the other healer just goes nuts: "Friel you are the worst ever. You are not doing anything. No revives. No Cures. No DPS. You are just doing nothing. You are the worst I have ever seen!"

I don't even bother to respond, because, I mean, this is NONSENSE. I healed plenty. I revived lots of people, including tanks. They are clearly lying, or else completely delusional. I was not in the mood to engage with their trolling crap, and I wasn't interested in whatever stupid thing they were trying to accomplish with this kind of talk. So of course, almost immediately, I get kicked from the group. I guess the rest of the party just believed them, just because they said it. Wow.

Again, I realize I was not doing all that great myself, but what that person was saying about me was not remotely true. They basically just made up a bunch of lies, and convinced the party to kick me for no real reason.

For what it's worth, I queued for V4 again, and basically carried the group. Tanks died, DPS died, the other healer died numerous times. We were seconds away from a wipe but I did a healer Limit Break and we came back and won the battle. I don't know what the real point of this anecdote is, other than... I dunno... how about we all just recognize that our DF group are supposed to be our ALLIES, not our ENEMIES, huh? What is it, with raids, where people just turn into animals? Calm down, please...

Decided to run the Duty Roulette for the Main Storyline as a Warrior to build up xp and help others and get the Castrum Meridianum. I see the other tank is a paladin with a much lower hp pool than me outside of defiance so I figure I'll take lead. Things are going well until we get to the end where there is the large group of magitek giants and the 2 spotlights.

People had ran into the area before I got there and ran straight to the large group instead of doing the usual method of just grabbing aggro from the guys by the spotlight switches. So I go shut them off since no one else was going and the next thing I know everybody is dropping. By the time the first person gets back I drop. So we finish off the large mob and take down the ship.

I grab aggro to start the fight with Livia sas Junius since everyone looked ready to go. I get her into position so it's easy for everyone to hit her with the rockets and 1 person shoots and then proceeds to run around the whole battlefield. I ask them to bring her to the center and place a waymark. We clear the mobs and before I can suggest timing the shots together someone fires one shot again and chaos ensues which I had to ask them again to bring her to the center. Took much longer than necessary to get her out of her magitek. I realize that I should have done a better job communicating since there were a couple of new people but I made the mistake of assuming the other veterans could compensate. Instead I had one constantly jumping around all over the place who was a healer. I've never exited that run as fast as I did today.

I have no issue with levelling potions really. But I just got the motherload of all stereotypical level skipping DRKs. Copperbell with 2 sapling archers. I groan and cry to myself because I hate that place but whatever, the tank stands there for a minute or so until I just pull then.

He uses Spinning Slash. The entire dungeon. I tell him to use Hard Slash first since its a combo. Am ignored. Use auto translate. Am ignored. Tell him to use unleash. I end up tanking. Tell him again. I end up tanking. Tell him a third time. He constantly stops and does nothing. So we did the entire dungeon without a tank as he couldn't keep aggro from anything. The whole time the sprouts are kinda wondering whats going and I decide to kick the tank at the last boss after we unanimously decide to. New tank, it ends and i apologize to the poor traumatized noobs.

Similar experience in Aurum Vale, with a very-probably jumped healer and dps. Didn't actually check gear, but jobs were a 60 with a smattering of other low level try outs. Party dissolved at the first boss when neither of the two would ever eat fruit and died from dots. Tank repeatedly tried explaining/requesting (maybe we could've used signs on them or something, but I certainly would not have enjoyed trying to continue clawing through the dungeon with that...)

I propose one quick-fix to these problems, by restricting jump potion users to only ever using their native language settings for a time. Good shout to anyone that actually takes the time to learn the jobs, but it seems like we could all benefit from being grouped with players that might actually be able to understand the advice given to them.

Might not help a lot, but could it really hurt?

So I finally got my hands on HW and SB. I think o.k. time to do the MSQ as I can get exp again. So off to easy mode Qarn. What do we have...Hmm, Two new people, and someone that has been here cool. This should be easy enough.....NOPE!

First pull is medium and the healer is having a little trouble so I do smaller pulls....except this asshole Bard decides he is the tank and aggros entire rooms and brings them back. At this point I'm pissed at this fool and feel bad for the healer and new person. I return to try doing small pulls to help the new people, but nope here goes the asshole again dragging rooms of enemies back and then bitching I should have aggro. F YOU DUDE! People wonder why I hate egotistical twats in the MMO world. The Bard is a prime, PRIME example. They do stupid shit then blame other people!

I hate when someone kicks a person at the end of the dungeon. It's a crappy thing to do. You should have known that the tank was bad before the first boss and should have kicked them there. Don't get to the end of the dungeon when there was no wipes and kick that person. That messed up.

I'm going to share a nice story. A friend needed V3 and 4 yesterday. It's Monday and was prepared for the worst. But everything was so smooth. I was OT for V3 and the other tank grabbed the dragon, was a little hurt, that's my one job as OT. But it was fine outside the dragon rotating between us, but he was burned down really fast so it didn't matter.

In V4 me and the other tank were in sync. We swapped with no problem and kept Exdeath in one location for the melee. The only issue was near the end of the fight and started casting his push move and I spaced and didn't notice til it was over halfway done. I booked it to behind him, but it triggered before that and I was blown to the side. Almost fell off. The other tank was prepared and ready to take over. He tried to provoke it, but I held aggro. We had a laugh over it. Those were two good runs, especially so close to reset.

So I am leveling my other tank, first I get Amdapor Keep and right at the start the healer informs me, that he/she want's me to do big pulls. I love hearing that as a tank, I start pulling the first 2 mobs, down the hallway, take a left turn all the way down to the first door (boss), on my way tho I do notice that the blm has a very happy trigger finger, fire II/flares going off, and the SMN joins in bane'ing dots.

I think to myself, be my guest, while I do have hate on them for now, it won't last till the end, if you guys keep that up. Sure enough both dps die on the way. Healer says to me, gotta hold hate, because I can't heal the dps while healing you.

So I answered with that it isn't my fault that the dps can't wait till the end of the pull, but that I do apologize and try to do a better job. BLM starts saying he/she loves a challenge and that I need to spam flash. It isn't my first time tanking tho, but sure I take it, because tank or heals are always at fault. By the end of the dungeon which took forever, since the dps stood in every crap and nearly died, blaming me since I apparently can control the floor aoe throughout that dungeon.

Then I join trial roulette, we wipe on titan and who get's blamed? Me because as off tank I was supposed to magically carry people through plumes and bombs. We abandon, I queue again, get moogle, DRK doesn't want to tank, so of course it's up to me. Then the king spawns, I pull it, thinking that's what I am tanking but man am I wrong, now all the sudden I am supposed to take the adds. No problem, I can adjust, grab the adds then dps keeps hitting the king, we wipe and of course it's my fault, not sure why but hey I take it.

So I queue a third time for trial roulette, by now I am close to not even continue leveling my tank, but I give it another go. We get steps of bs, DRK again asks me if I could do cannons. I said sure, go to the cannons, all the sudden I see the healers dropping and look to my right, DRK stands right next to me at the other cannon. I am thinking to myself, maybe I am not capable of reading or understanding english, I apologize we try again, we wipe again because dps can't kill the dragon in time.

One more time right, why give up since it was so much fun, I get the limitless blue (regular aka hard mode). Tank, once again DRK is level 70 and turns on grit right away, so I am thinking that I won't need tank stance till the snake adds. Boy I am very wrong lately when playing the game, I assume things that would make sense, but apparently not to other people.

I grab the adds, then these snakes spawn, I grab one, the other one runs around and wipes the whole party. People yelling at me for not picking up both, I am explaining that I can't tank both because they need to be separated. Now that DRK wants a piece of the argument cake as well, saying he's a sprout and has no idea about the fight/mechanics and that I am a jerk for not helping.

I dropped out of that trial roulette quicker then somebody could say lol and decided that I stick with my dps and healer. Because apparently with SE selling these jump potions, it's my duty to carry not only healers, now I gotta carry other tanks and dps on top of that, while being blamed for everything possible. Hell I might as well get blamed for a sack of rice that falls over in china, even tho I wasn't even there at that moment lol.

Gotta share some good stories sometimes too!

I queue for expert roulette first thing at reset time, wait time is 5 minutes (as RDM).

We get into Kugane Castle with an AST, PLD, and another RDM. Tank asks the healer if big pulls are okay, and the healer says "please do"

The other RDM and I melted all the adds, the tank never dropped below 50% and the AST was throwing out gravities regularly.

All boss mechanics went off perfectly and the DPS was so good between both of us that we were on the verge of ripping it from the tank at a couple points, but never did.

Whole run took ~15 minutes.

I normally would...except it's usually an accident when they do it(as in I move through the mobs so that I'm closest to where the next set of adds/wandering trash are but someone decides to stand past me. Or it's someone I know being bored and wanting to do something like that.

I had a terribly slow keeper run yesterday.. noticed after the second boss that I wasn't seeing any buffs on the sam, but I did see his dot on the final boss. Checked the battle log after they left.. sam was only throwing his ranged hit randomly, and used the 2 hit slashing debuff combo on the add, and used that flower to dot the boss. No wonder things took forever to die..

Fresh one, out of the oven.

I was farming Doma castle for some gear, when I came across a lovely Dragoon, warning us about the potential dangers this task ahead of us presented...

...after he'd ran head first into the first group of mobs, causing me to spam heal both him and the tank in a dungeon where trash hits like garbage trucks.

While the tank was obviously farming for some gear as well(he still had some ilv 270 stuff), suffices to say that he handled the dungeon prty damn well, the only casualty being myself at the 2nd boss i think, as no one met me half way to stack up in time :( Good thing the lovely red mage was there for me in my time of need and res-ed me up. Even had some time to throw some damage in between heals.

The dragoon on the other hand... let's just say I'm glad the tank decided to go with small pulls, as he had the strange habit of standing in the bad a lot.

Sometimes it's a good revenge when someone is being an a*hole throughout all the run. Their playstyle just didn't match ours.

Haven't posted here in a while. While this isn't really a bad DF vent or anything, it's still an interesting story nonetheless.

So, queue into V4N this morning with two friends since we were running Omega Normal to go ahead and get our weekly drops out of the way. Everything is going normal, we're fighting Exdeath, this is normal mode. Super baby games. He starts casting Void Blizzard III. Now, some of us started moving to do the mechanic properly, others (like myself lol) just stood still because the damage isn't too terrible in normal mode/we maybe weren't paying complete attention to his cast bar.

Cast goes off, and instantly, 5 people just drop dead: both healers and 3 DPS, myself and one of my friends included. We're in discord together, and during wave after wave of WTFs, my other friend is Dualcast-Verraising everyone to try and salvage the run. He gets up the healers, and then me, since I was on BRD, so that I can pop Refresh for them. We continue fighting, and the mechanic goes off again. Those who didn't move get one-shot again. This happened a couple more times, and eventually my RDM friend says "Hyomin, you're the only one who doesn't have any sort of vulnerability stacks on you. Purposely fail the mechanic to see what exactly is going on here." I agree, and we wait for Exdeath to cast Void Blizzard III again. I purposely fail the mechanic, and this is what happened.

Initial hit did 0 damage, thanks to the SCH shield on me. I'm frozen like normal, so nothing unusual there.
The Deep Freeze DoT tick that happens immediately afterwards ticked for nearly 40k. I have roughly a 35k health pool in 8-man content on BRD, so I drop instantly.

At this point, all three of us are just WTFing in Discord, and we jokingly ask my friend "You did queue us into NORMAL MODE right? NOT Savage? XD" We finally clear the fight after several pulls (and replacing the MT because we explicitly said to save the LB3 for healers since there was so much dying due to the Void Blizzard III, and they immediately used the tank LB3 for "science" each time we pulled). I got my shaft, but both of my friends still needed shafts, so we requeue again.

Void Blizzard III completely back to normal this time.
So weird. But definitely made for a very interesting morning. XD


On a different note, joined a V1S clear PF to help another friend get her clear for it (I'd already done my weekly run, but she had seen enrage so many times and just wanted a clear, so I joined in to help out). We had this RDM that was just straight-up tripping the entire fight, claiming he's been in runs that push phases and completely skip the Third Classical Elements (where everyone stacks at the cardinal point with no fireball, and then slides into the middle and back to their assigned position for Levinbolts), and making all sorts of ridiculous claims. I'm not saying anything other than "you crazy, dude" because I'm looking at my "crystal ball" and his gear and there would have been no way he could have ever pushed any phase unless he was hardcore being carried by a group. Anyways, there was also this WAR who had never cleared, but every time someone made the smallest mistake, they called them out in chat and got super snarky with them. I was getting pissed, so I eventually called him out on his OWN mistakes, and how that's fine if he wants to call others out on what they're doing wrong, but own up to his own as well. And he immediately backed down.

I also pointed out that he should probably invest AT LEAST in the i310 verity body piece (you know, since he's a tank and could use something better than the i300 BODY PIECE he was still wearing), and his excuse was "I don't have any Verity to buy one, and unless you're going to make me a 320 body piece, this one is just fine."

....okay. Roulettes practically THROW Verity at you. There is no excuse to queue into Savage completely UNMELDED with an i300 body piece. I don't care if Defiance gives you a large HP pool. There's a thing called DEFENSE that is particularly important for tanks, not to mention the substat gains would be better as well. Anyways, just thought it was funny how he was so quick to dish out criticism, but the minute people start pointing out his mistakes, he starts making excuses: "I don't know this fight from an MT perspective"/"I've never actually cleared so of course I'll make mistakes"). Yeah, and 5 out of 8 others had never cleared as well, so they, too, are allowed to make mistakes.

Some people, I swear.

There was a bug report not a long time ago, that stated the same thing right after the last patch, and I noticed it as well as I was running regular mode last week. While I do pay attention to cast bars, I don't assume that others do, since it's not savage, but all the sudden I stand there with the 2 tanks alone on my rdm, raising the healers and dps for them, since blizzard wiped nearly the whole party. This week, I encountered it only a couple of times, while other times, it seem to be normal. It's like the instant kill mechanic only happens if not enough dmg is dealt throughout the fight. I might be wrong, and it's based on Ex death's mood that day, but it's still very amusing that at times it wipes the whole party, and at other times nothing happens at all lol.

What's messed up is that guy ignoring all the advice I had given him and letting me tank the entire dungeon as healer. And....what does no wipes have to do with anything? I was healing. It was copperbell. You could try to wipe but I still won't let you die. That wasn't because of the "tank" that didnt keep aggro on even one mob and stood around doing nothing randomly.. Hell before i kicked him I tried again to tell him to use unleash but was met with absolute silence.

Was doing Lakshmi Ex, and the MT died to the TB during Chanchala, putting OT as first in hate. Cleave hit the party and we wiped.

MT mentioned he used vril and didn't know why he died, and we all said that he should have used it sooner and that he used it to late, no big deal we can get it this pull (since I was healing I did see him use a CD so thats not an issue here). His retort was that he used it and that we were stupid, said whatever and left the party.

PF back up, we get a new tank and then farm without issue for hours.

I normally would...except it's usually an accident when they do it(as in I move through the mobs so that I'm closest to where the next set of adds/wandering trash are but someone decides to stand past me. Or it's someone I know being bored and wanting to do something like that.

No it was no accident, they purposely ran off and brought mobs back to the room. He/She literally ignored temple bees. Had I not bee over ILevel I would have been one shot multiple times. I rarely if all get ruffled with games/runs but that one just lit my fire.

A few days ago I did the Temple of the Fist as a Paladin and used Cover on the Touch of Slaughter target before Ivan finished his cast. It took both me and the covered buddy to about 10% xp. We were lucky to have a good healer and I regret that I was too shocked to mutter an apology. I'm sorry.

Last night did a Mentor Roulette because I couldn't sleep. Got Bowl of Embers Extreme. No big deal, should be fine since there are two other mentors in the group, two of us DPS(me as RDM, other as MNK) and the other a WHM(had at least 3 classes at 70, since I like to see what they level - mostly a healer person it seems). Boy, was I wrong.

Attempt 1:
Stole agro with one spell. Quick moment of WTF, and see neither tank(PLD and DRK) are using tank stance. After I die, ask the tank(PLD had elected to be MT) to throw on Shield Oath(used auto-translate just in case they didn't speak English as their first language). No response, we wipe shortly after the first set of nails spawn.

Attempt 2:
PLD pulls again, without Shield Oath on again(I'm watching for it this time and ask again for them to put it on...they put Sword Oath on instead). I slow my casting by letting Dualcast almost run out before using it. We get through to the Searing Wind, and the healers(one was sprout) both keep moving closer to the party...yes, even mentor healer. We wipe because RDM, 2 MNKs, and a SMN can very rapidly kill all the nails...and forget that they give a vuln stack with each one killed. This caused the tanks to die because 4x vuln + new healer not knowing the fight + searing wind pushing people around + Ifrit hitting the party with his cleave due to MT death. Wipe.

Attempt 3:
PLD starts with Sword Oath, eventually switches to Shield after a third reminder. We get to the second set of nails this time(many deaths due to Searing Wind + vuln stacks are had), we wipe again.

Attempts 4-7 are the same(except PLD stays in Shield Oath unless they are swapping with the DRK who goes in Grit when needed), slowly progressing until we get him to 12% and wipe due to the nails not being dead.

Attempt 8:
Everything is going good, when he gets to about 25% I tell everyone to slow down/stop DPSing to not push him to the wipe point. Kill the nails, though I get hit by double Searing, with 2 vuln stacks, and cleaved, so I'm down. Healers are going all out, tanks are going all out, MNKs too(SMN was also dead). We finally clear. Congrats/GGs went around, and everyone who started the trial left the trial around the same time. Definitely taught a bunch of newbies how to handle different things, and ended the night on a decent note.

Deltascape. Cue the sigh pulled from the weary depths of my soul. I healed a gauntlet of Deltascape 1s as SCH. For some infathomable reason, in one particular run, the tanks started the fight both in DPS stances. A RDM takes aggro right off the bat and immediately becomes dragon chow.

No, neither of them ever put on a tank stance throughout the rest of the fight.

A while later, I decided to run Trials Roulette as MNK. For over a year now, I've avoided running MNK in any party content except for guildhests, because I simply cannot stand having to handle positionals 24/7. I land in Garuda HM with two tanks who apparently believe that the name of the trial is Disco Party. Yeah, kiss those positional bonuses goodbye. Never again.

Honestly, it was freaking hilarious. Everyone but the uptight MT was amused by it. He, on the other hand, just kept repeating to us that we had to move for the mechanic (well, yeah...), and that we were bad for dying to it (to which I said, "healers can't heal a bugged DoT that ticks for more than your HP pool"). The DRG in our group eventually had enough and basically said to him "Take your science and shove it" after the DRK kept going on about how much we all sucked (and after causing us to wipe because he wasted the LB3 on tank LB when my RDM friend Verraised a healer to use it and Exdeath was at 5%...and then commented about how a melee LB would have saved the run even though BOTH MELEE WERE DEAD AND HE USED THE LB ANYWAYS). Pretty sure that DRG got all the comms from that group; I know me and my friends comm'd him.

It was a very interesting experience, and definitely made V4N more enjoyable, to say the least. And it did a surprisingly good job of waking me up, since it was around 6am and I was kinda tired. XD Kinda hoping the runs I do next week end up with the bugged Void Blizzard III for more fun to be had! Need more fun and interesting runs when I venture into DF for weeklies rather than same-old-same-old boring/bad runs.

Speaking of bad: our V2N run started off pretty rocky considering neither tank put on a stance (but face-pulled the boss anyways), which then proceeded to rotate threat amongst the DPS (my RDM friend, who used Diversion > my SAM friend, who used Diversion > me, who popped Tactician because RIP Quelling Strikes ~2.0 - 3.57 > other SAM, who either died or used Diversion > my RDM friend, who this time died > me, who popped Refresh this time--sorry healers but still RIP Quelling Strikes). RDM friend makes a comment about tanks actually tanking the boss. One tank said 'Well the other tank didn't have a stance on.' So...what stopped you from putting on yours when it became obvious the other tank didn't actually want to tank, even though he pulled? Rather than let Catastrophe chew through the DPS one by one?


Also, ventured into Expert Roulette on RDM to get come Creation since I've been slacking on roulettes due to be deep in crafting land (still gotta cap them tomestones!) and got Ala Mhigo. First boss, I Displacement'd into an AOE and survived with ~3k health. Healer was probably like "GDI THIS RDM" but they healed me, so yay. I made a point to be super careful about AOEs and Displacement usage after that lol. Also, the BRD in the group didn't use songs for the bosses.... Or Foe's. Like...ever. At all. I know my performance on RDM wasn't stellar because the job is a little bit dusty but...really? You're a bard. Bard uses songs. Please use songs. They're good for you and good for the party. Minuet is especially good for you. Use pls.

My inner BRD died a little bit inside each time I looked at my status bar and didn't see that Critical Up buff. :c

Here's one that makes me crying. Yesterday, I ran Shinryu as a WHM with an RDM friend with me.

I did all I can to heal up the players who are taking so much damage, leaving me thirsty for MP, probably the other WHM too. Also, tanks not stacking for Akh Morn while my hand is ready to cast Cure III. The RDM mentioned that after the transition, even she had to heal and raise as a 3rd healer!

Pew pew laser hit me for aggro management failure at one point. I was like: "Tanks, I'm under attack! I'm dying~" until my RDM friend shouted "PROVOKE", which they finally realized what's happening lol. Still doesn't help the fact that most members kept dying though, even after a big save with my LB3. Attempted 5 times until a tank left, and the vote abandon got through. :<

Then, I decided to change to be the MT PLD. The run became a breeze for most. Right before the clear, it looked as if everyone was dead, and I'm the last person standing. I killed him with my Holy Spirits spam, and everyone was surprised that we actually won. :D

Despite the cheery moment, I really wanted to attempt and clear Royal Menagerie as a healer, so I'm a little upset in the end.

I'm not complaining about dps queue times, it comes with the territory.

What I do complain about and find immensely annoying is after waiting 30+ minutes for the dungeon I get grouped up with a tank or healer that doesn't respect the parties time by going afk multiple times and making us wait up. The dungeon taking 10-20 minutes longer than normal because they got in instantly and don't respect the time the dps players have already sunk into the dungeon before they showed up.

Be polite to your parties, tanks/healers. Be ready to sit down for 15-20 minutes to finish the dungeon with no distractions. We will all be happier with each other if we are all prepared before hitting that queue button.

Though this doesn't happen to me often, there are situations where you can't ignore something outside of the game(some form of emergency that just pops up).

Understandable. Tanks/Healers that immediately leave or "DC" as soon as they see Aurum Vale can die in a fire however.
