Originally managed to snag 94 points, as I put the ring in the wrong slot... But if you put it in the correct place you'll get 100 points.

Head: Partisan's Crown / Gold
Body: Woolen Bilaud / Gold
Legs: Cotton Gaskins / Gold
2nd Ring: Rubellite Ring / Gold

Warwolf Bliaud of Healing and Warwolf Gaskins of Healing also give gold.
Meteor Survivor Ring is just one star though.

Can confirm, Vampire Vest, previous event item, works for 100. With Cotton Gaskins and Sunstone Rings available at NPC shops, and Partisan's Crown being a fairly simple achievement, easy week to get that perfect score.

Gambler's crown is also gold.

Cheapest 80 points for MGP I've found this week:

Hempen Shepherd's Tunic - Bark Brown Dye
Any Pants - Bark Brown Dye

As usual, Tunic is from Armor Vendors in starter cities, dye from Kasumi.

Total cost: 202 gil.

Spring Skirt and Antiquated Myochin Jingasa (probably also the Anemos varieties) are gold

For this week you need 1 Dye for 100 points. Without a Dye it is 98 points:

Body: Wind Silk Coatee
Hands: Punching Gloves , Arachne Field Dressing of Scouting or Arachne Field Dressing of Striking

Black Summer Top is obtained via the Cascadier Uniform Voucher from Jonathas in Old Gridania. Take the voucher to Mor Dhona to trade it in, near the poetic npc. Wristguards are bought at the armor vendor at starter cities.

Total cost: 252gil, no dyes needed.

(Add a Rainbow/Black Violet Corsage and Cropped Wool/Flannel Slops for 100 score)

My 80 this week was the summer swimsuit and bunny loops(MGP purchase) for the wrists.

99 this week on the following:

Classic Spectacles, dyed Soot Black
Ala Mighan Coat of Aiming, dyed Royal Blue
Cropped Wool Slops (no dye)
Amethyst Ring

Extra points on Bark brown dyed leather shoes (nice and easy to craft), and Charcoal Grey dyed hands (False Nails in my case, but the dye is important, not the look).

Cheapest 80 this week for MGP reward:

Flourite Ring
Any Legs (Bark Brown Dye)
Any Boots (Bark Brown Dye)

The ring can be obtained from the jewelery vendor near the Ul'dah Goldsmith guild. Bark Brown Dye is bought from Kasumi, beside Masked Rose.

Total cost: 1735 gil

If youre far enough in the game to have done the scholasticate sidequests, the inspectors glasses you get work too. This week i did a 100 point outfit since i had all the materials on hand.

Ala Mhigan Gown is gold, which actually surprised me considering how nonsensical some of the limitations have been in the past.

Contemporary pince-nez (crafted lvl 1 glam item) dyed soot black are also worth gold.

Too busy with WoW to dig for the cheapest possible non-crafter option this week, but Best Mans Jacket/Slacks (or the Eternal Passion set), Hempen Dress Gloves and Scion Adventurer's Monocle did the job for me, all are gold. Any 2 will net you 80 points. Put a Chocolate Brown Dye on the body for 100 points.

Best Man clothing can be bought in Ul'dah (Sunsilk Tapestries, near the Hall of Flames), Hempen Dress Gloves from the basic armor vendor in Uldah and the Monocle from MSQ. Dye is also Ul'dah, dye vendor.

Use all of the butler's gear and dye jacket & pants brown from boutique for an easy 100.

Re: week 30: Pretty low budget SE making a FRF item only available by purchase on the Mog if you never got it way back in a quest.... Shame. Not in a million years. I thought pay2win practices were illegal?

the Samurai level 70 job quest body is also gold for this week. So the Mogstation items aren't the only things that will get you gold.

However, one still needs to be level 70 to gain the accessories necessary to get gold for this week. And this wouldn't be the first week either *points to the week where one of the accessory slots had Lakshmi EX accessories for the gold rating.

The reddit thread also states anyone can get an 80 without any of the key items by simply using the right dyes they have listed. Haven't tried it yet myself but considering how generous scoring is compared to the past I wouldn't doubt it.

If you don't need any of the items to get an 80, then there's really no reason to be upset about the item choice. Getting a 100 is only useful once for title and achievement so there's no reason to try to get it every week if some weeks require items you don't have.

For those who would like to know, here's the dye list for this week from the reddit thread (credit to poster RyonAltemis):

How do people work out the exact dyes anyway? Do a whole lot of people go there with the same items dyed different colours? There's so much variability with multiple item slots to test.

Wear an item you know is wrong with any dye on it(you can test multiple slots at once, just have to pay slightly more attention to detail). If the item is still one star, you know that the color family is wrong(so if ice blue is 1 star you can rule out all blue dyes for that slot). Once you find the right base color, you can tell based on how many points you scored whether it was a 1 or 2 point dye. If its two mark down the exact shade(cactaur green), if its 1 try another shade(hunter green?). It isnt uncommon for more then one slot to share a color(if marsh green worked for legs and gloves are also green its likely to work for those too), but most weeks have at least 3 unique colors. One person with a couple alts can get all the color families sorted out(and some specific shades if they get lucky), share that info with a handful of other people who want to sort it out and you can get all the color possibilities tested within a few minutes. Afterall, you only need level 15 and access to the saucer and each alt can run 3 or 4 tests(depending on if you care that your alts get 80+ points).

Week 31 using my Bard for 94 /100. "Plague of the skies"

Head: Any with a salmon pink dye
Body: Sky Rat harness of Aiming-soot black dye
Hands: Shire Conservator's Gloves from Hismena in Idyl. for 245 Poetics.
legs: (had this) Chimerical felt skirt-soot black
Feet: Any with slate gray dye.

I didn't have the Alexandrian neck saved so I just used my 370 tome one.

I got gold with Hempen Undershort, Felt Kecks & Dravanian Choker of Slaying, but 1 starred with Endless Summer Sandals for a total of 95.

Maybe the Endless Summer gear is ‘too new’ and didn’t get tagged for Fashion Report when it was added? Have any recent items worked in other weeks?

I scored 87 using the hempen camise and Moonfire sandals.

The male Auri starter-gear sandals also get a gold mark.

Bridesmaid sandals also worked this week. There was also a fairly low level "hard leather sandal" on the gear merchant in town. I used bridesmaid which i already had, hempen camise, and i think they were hempen kecks(another merchant item) for a 95.

Ultima Horns for head, Demon Caligae of Scouting for feet, and [whatever swimsuit top you exchanged the cascadier uniform voucher for] for the chest piece are all gold. Any 2 of these should net 80 points (I got it with just the Black Summer Halter and the Caligae).
Also, "the Coil that Binds" for a ring pretty obviously hints towards Binding Coil, should be fairly easy to get something out of there unsynced.
I'd also assume the summoner horns and maybe the PvP unicorn horn for bards should count for head, and there are a bunch of other caligae in the game, so looks like it shouldn't be a hard week.

Succubus horns from Gold Saucer and Hard Leather Caligae which are just a lvl 12 vendor item are also worth gold. Caligae were mole brown but I'm not sure if it matters; tried it again with gloom purple and got gold again.

Cheapest 80 this week is most likely Hard Leather Caligae and Black Summer Top/Halter.

Caligae are bought from gear vendors in starter cities and the Black Summer Top is part of the Cascadier set (bought from Jonathas in Gridania and exchanged in Mor Dhona).

Total cost 430g, no dyes required.

The Cascadier top, caligae and Succubus Horns all got gold and got me to... 95.

I guess you lose out a bit by those items not being dyeable, and I may not have had dye on the other things I was wearing at the time.

I confirmed the SMN AF1 horn does indeed count for gold this week, although the tradeoff is you cannot equip caligae with SMN (unless you're lucky enough to have a dated pair from 1.0 which are not restricted by class). :(

Allagan Ring of Healing/Casting/ect. from Binding Coil are also gold and should get you the 100.

Tried the "Helm of Light" no luck despite it's big horns.

I know pretty much everyone has the Tantalus pants, but in case you don't the spring bottoms from the boutique are gold as well.
