AF+1 Costs WAY Too Much

300 is way too low a cap. The cheapest ilvl 90 gear costs more than that. Not only that, but we don't have Alts in this game with separate pools to draw from, all our alts are on the same character. Just getting each job a relic +1 will take 3 weeks per job. Therefore, for anyone trying to gear up multiple characters with Myth stones, it will take an inordinately long amount of time. This needs to be looked at. There's no reason for it to be this restrictive other than to artificially stretch out the time it takes to clear content. That's not a very popular reason for doing it.

The real question is how much cost reduction do they mean by "...slowly reducing the cost..."

They basically mean for you to pick 1 job focus on that for 5 months cap out then if you want pick another if you want.

Mythology gear is there to supplement missing pieces (or in some cases go for BiS) for drops you're not picking up in Coil, and soon to be open, Crystal Tower.

You're not supposed to gear entirely in badge gear. Of course that would take forever if that is your goal.

The cap is to stall for time for 2.1 to come out.

I have the feel that AF+1 is not there for you to full gear in. It is for you to get something out of Bahamut runs when the RNG does not drop the loot you need. It is a way to prevent RNG screwing players over too badly which in my opinion is very good. People doing nothing but farming AK for myth is probably doing it wrong. There is a reason why there is a limit at 300 myths per week..

I agree, we should be able to get the very best gear in the game in a week.

how far are we in now? I myself alread have AF+1 legs hands and crown, ill be a few short after next week from getting the chest but hey thats no biggie. I'm
leveling another class or grinding CM for philo tomes or heck just playing another game while waiting on the reset isnt that big of a deal to me.
I'm in no hurry.

I feel like the price is just right. While having that annoying 300 tomes a week limit is kind of annoying. Just hope RNG in CoB goes in your favor :)
