When did calling PS4 players “console peasants” become acceptable?

PS4 players are like picking Torbjorn in Overwatch Competitive. He get's the job done, but Hanzo/Genji just does it better xD.

Yes, it's fact a medium graded PC will look and perform better then a console of similar price zone when it comes to hardware. And yes, you can upgrade it down the road as you see fit. But the smart ones know that you play console for affordability or for exclusive games. Sadly there's no games on console that are exclusive that I can't find on PC that are similar and sometimes better that I want to play.

Only games that came close for me, were Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, and that's on Switch the "lowest powered console", but they are sooo fun to play. Think those are the only console games I really have enjoyed in a long time, the rest are just rehash of things that have been out in the past. Now, when 2077 comes out, nnnngggh! Going to crank that up so high on detail my PC will probably vent steam from my liquid cooling lol

And i agree, Nintendo keep delivering for decades now, they never had the flashiest games but the game-play was always top notch.
Lets not forget that we should be thankful to Nintendo that FF series even exist.

Totally off topic, but remember when they had to re-balance Torbjorn on console only, since player were unable to counter a character due to poor console controls? He's was rarely used on PC since a few shots and turret dead. Console his turret was ravaging other players since they lacked the ability to easily kill it vs a mouse and keyboard user.

Because it's fun?

We did Titania & Innocence EX for the better gear so we can do Savage which requires you to have higher ilvl.
Same with normal and in 2 days crafting too. Then we will do the first boss then second, etc and that gear helps vs the later bosses and for when the next raid tier is out.

Gear is required so you can keep doing higher content.
But, the content itself you do it because it's fun.
And then you also get rewarded if you complete such 'hard' content in the form of gear that you can dye, mounts, titles, etc.


I had some sort of discussion about this with a 'friend' not so long ago. She said she was going to buy an ultimate clear.
So I asked why and she said "I'm not going to wipe for weeks for just glamour, lol".

I don't really understand that mindset. I like to do ex trials and raids, it's fun to do. The mounts and glamour is just a reward for completing such things.
I wouldn't do this content if I didn't had fun doing it.

This is an old argument that I have seen now for probably 20 years. People like to feel superior to others. There is absolutely nothing wrong with playing on console. And that's coming from a PC only gamer. People are so ridiculous.

Proof that her performance is below average has been found and analyzed:

Personally I find that the quality of ones internet connection and how one deals with the ever present server delay is far more important as whether s/o plays on a console or a PC. I have "console peasants" in my raid that easily outperform me b/c they know what they are doing and ... are a wee bit DPS obsessed. :D

is that info above from a parser or that site which is ya know ... against the ToS?
