Housing demolition timer need to be changed! Sitting on your property needs to count.

I will say this, where as OP did screw up by not going into his house, it dosent change the fact that the system is rather flawed. If someone is paying a sub, they shouldnt have to go back to their home just to go inside... For those people jumping in and saying they do it with multiple characters, then you technically arent useing your homes as the game intended either and just have them to have them. I dont think thats super wrong, though i will say why would you ever need more than one home is beyond me.

The system should be changed to either no cause time lose as long as your sub is active and only start the timer the moment your sub goes unpaid or at least allow simply being on your property to count seeing as somewhere the game knows who owns the lot and who has permissions because i belive fountains and certain light fixtures as well as the firepit cannot be used by people who are not owners or part of said fc.

Why is everyones argument "someone who deserves it more" or "will appreciate it more" comeing up so much? I tend to wander around the housing districts on my server, randomly bounceing around from ward to ward to see other peoples house and get ideas for my own, this includes going in homes (i dont get why people lock their homes by the way, not like someone can take things) and for the record, even when doing this for hours at a time, i hardly ever see anyone in the houseing area. Everynow and then ill see someone and its usually someone who just got a house, but most house areas are deserted. Everone just idles at the 3 starting cities atherite.

I honestly find it troubling that people defend this type of complaining. At some point, the OP needs to accept personal responsibility for failing to meet the conditions set forth by the game to keep their plot. It doesn’t seem like they are wanting to do that, but instead blame a system that plenty of others seem to keep up with and work within just fine.


For the record, my personal house doesn’t use crafting stations or any of the like—and I’m notoriously bad for keeping up with airships, so a friend does that in my FC. I go into my personal house for retainers and to just listen to music on the orchestrion while I’m idle, talking to friends, or waiting for my queue to pop. Sometimes I do idle in my yard—but I at least take the time to enter my estate every day, unlike what has happened here.

Did larry or merri lose their house too not too long ago, Now I don't agree with the sitting on a house nonsense however perhaps actually adding a in game notice when you log in and not when you click on the door it self I mean they already have a system setup to do it when you have 5 days of sub left am pretty sure they could add that or a pop message when you login in the game.
