So, I eagerly awaited the day I could play Final Fantasy XIV in native OS X on my Macbook Pro, only to find that not only did I have to miss out on Early Access, the final product wasn't even worth waiting for. It is beyond terrible. I have a 2015 Macbook Pro with 16gb of RAM, a core i7 processor, and an AMD R9 M370x GPU. The best this port can do is around 30 FPS ON THE LOWEST SETTINGS. That is garbage. This game runs at around 45-50 FPS on High (Laptop) in Windows 10 via Bootcamp, so why does it barely get 30 FPS in Mac OS? This has just been extremely disappointing and the $60 purchase was just not worth it. I guess I'll just have to switch into Bootcamp when I want to play on the go.
This was honestly just a huge disappointment and I hope they do something to fix it.
