Best Gear in Coil needs to end

Yeah I said explicitly that having the two separate streams behind coil is bad design, not that I wanted the gear to be available outside of coil (it probably will be with 2.3 anyway). How did you interpret that so badly? Is English your first language? I also said outright that I'm quite happy for the best gear to come from coil. You quoted that part yourself and now you're trying to backtrack. Your reading and comprehension skills are deplorable and frankly you're doing a terrible job at trying to save face. Maybe just consign yourself to the fact that you wasted 15 posts arguing with me on a point that you 100% made the wrong assumption about. Otherwise I'm just going to keep tearing you to shreds.

Again, nowhere in this thread have I argued that the best gear shouldn't come from coil. No amount of creative writing from you is going to change that.

It's apparently not enough that you cleared all the content. You want to feel more powerful while doing it. Which I'm guessing is what the vast majority of people really want in getting better gear. It's not about clearing new and harder content, it's about feeling more powerful while doing it. They don't just want to beat WP or Titan HM or EX or whatever, they want to do it faster and easier. Makes them feel special. It's what they pay for.

Personally? I think it would be best to release the i110 stuff to the general public in 2.3 by adding sands and oils to CT. Gives coil raiders some exclusivity to this gear for a while, but lets everyone have access eventually. This gives non-raiders a chance to catch up to the raiders before 2.4 drops, and it ensures that CT remains relevant after the release of 2.4.

On a separate note, I also think the coil loot tables are getting pretty crowded, and I don't believe that's good even for the raiders doing coil. The more loot that's on each boss, the more you're subject to the RNG gods as to what you actually get. Volatile RNG and a lockout seems like a bad combination to me.

There are between 8-9 pieces of loot in each chest, not counting the upgrade materials which are guaranteed drops and drop as well as high allagan loot. This is the same as first coil, not crowded at all. It's actually better for rng this time since if someone has bad luck with loot drops you can just pass them the sands/oil.

Edit: not to mention that melee share accessories now, which means that the loot is actually less crowded now than in first coil.

But either way, there is TWO sets of ilvl110 armor. Both should not be from coil.

It's not bad design because the only way that could be changed is if they made another raid to put the i110 gear in(which i would be ok with), but you've already said you don't like dealing with raid groups and doing coil and all that so that would be no good for you. You say you think the i110 gear should only be obtainable in coil(the hardest raid) but then you say that it's bad design. Do you like games with bad design or do you just like contradicting yourself? It just seems to me like you were complaining about it being the only method of obtaining the best gear with coil being the only hardcore raid. Would you prefer the sol gear not be upgradable through coil so skilled players can have less loot and less skilled players can feel better about themselves? Let's just hand people sands and oil. Oh, I forgot you're apparently in favor of the best gear being from coil. That can't be what you want. Maybe you just like complaining and arguing and making excuses for why you can't clear content.

Gear needs to be earned, and right now i110 is earned in 2nd coil....Let casual raiders get it with the next big coil patch in 2.4

I wonder can't people just PF for it like they do in JP server? If anybody play in JP server here, then you would see that majority are not in static. They simply finding the PF that match them. They split PF into "first try" "beginner practice", "phase 2 practice", "phase 3 practice" ...", last phase practice", "try to win", "only people that win before".

As you can see there, everybody go join the PT that match the same progress as what he/she is. Thus, they don't even need static. Whenever they wanna do coil, they wait until peak time, check out PT that match their progress or make own PF for it. If you already win it once, you don't need to repeat training again by making PT requirement as "only people that win before", you will gather only people who already won it before. (they will check achievement), and usually it is win win.

Surely that static may make it little easier. But for those who care freedom, PF is generally much better choice for them. This is why majority are PF rather than static. Can't NA servers side does the same? A lot of people here PF and already win T9, depend on how often he/she PF, training, and step up the requirement. Code of honor play big role here, because community kidda be strict and JP has their blacklist to those who cheat or lie. If you do not have clear achievement before, joining win party only will make you whole server bad name.

one FC being able to do t6-9 in mostly ilevel 90 gear(and they still had some 100-110 gear, don't deny it) doesn't mean everyone can do that. the same way some people can do t5 without echo doesn't mean everyone can do it without the echo.

there's also the fact that the 110-115 gear is for the next raid tier.
