"Healing received" effects can also boost barriers, not just direct heals and HoTs. Something which would make it more useful on DRK (as with WAR) than on PLD and GNB.

Besides, this is all assuming they don't add other healing effects to the kit like bringing in parity with C&S somehow.

Healing Received+ only affects barriers that are a result of direct cure potency like Adloquium, not % based shields like TBN. If this were true, shake it off & divine veil would receive benefits from mantra, Thrill or protraction (independent of Shake's eat the CD effect, and outside of the higher natural max HP affecting their shield strength and not due to the 10% increased healing.), which they don't. 'Healing Received'+ only affects abilities & spells which have barriers based on cure potencies or health restored. You can also go easily test this in P3s - if % barriers were affected by your healing received stat, TBN would shield you for 2-4% of your max HP, due to death's toll's 80% some odd healing received reduction, but it still clearly shield the full 25%.

So DRK would have little internal use in its own kit for Healing Received+ since it would effectively only work on Souleater & AD, it would be almost purely for the healer's benefit and falling into the territory of LD's problem where the DRK has effectively little control over it and requires the healer to receive the benefit. The only way DRK could actually benefit from it is if it was given it's own flavour(s) of direct upfront healing/HoTs, a heal/barrier split skill that effectively copies Adloquium or Eukrasian Diagnosis, or a an ability like thrill of battle/protraction that temporarily boosts the DRK's max HP to synergize with TBN's % based scaling.

HELL YEAH BROTHER

Lifesteal on hit only works if;
1. We retain full 10s duration of the invulnerability
2. It's potentially enough to clear the threshold itself (like during your burst window or something)

Otherwise this is a healer buff, not a DRK buff.

I mean, I personally would've liked the death penalty be removed too, but I'll happily take this over nothing. We'll have to wait until the patch notes for more details on the job

Alright, great, shitloads of healing during Walking Dead. Two questions:

1. Does the DRK still die if not healed for 100%?
2. Does the Walking Dead end the moment they are healed for 100%?

We obviously still need to see the full patch notes to get the new tooltip, but right now? Still a chance DRK could just die after their invuln, and there's a greater chance of the invuln ending sooner. Basically, still gimped to shit compared to the other three invulns because DRK can't have nice things.

I really want to know what potency entails a "significant amount". It has to be big enough so that DRK heals itself most of its HP. I would hope for DRK to be able to heal itself fully within 4 GCDs, but that would be too good to be real.

I've got a feeling theres more coming. We just weren't given all the details for DRK yet. Maybe I'm just being hopeful though

Utterly underwhelming. The living dead change was needed but the job is still a boring, uninspired mess.
