It'd have to be something that gets alot of support; I've only seen such things pop up on occasion - while it's an obvious want by many players
Why should Cid have a full beard AND eyebrows??
I hate Cid with a full passion.

I also hope facepaints are cleaned up, we haven't seen anything about it.

More kinky/coily hairstyles. Think box braids, Locs in different styles (ponytails) etc.

I obviously can't speak for the developers on this but I think it might have to do with the fact that midlanders don't have any of the extra features that other races have that would take up the limited data space allocated for them?

And to not have a giant forehead
I'd rather hairstyles fit closer to how the racial hairs for Viera fit, it looks more natural and closer to the brow- instead of leaving a huge landing strip of a forehead

But I'd love pretty long braids, ones without the 1 hero bang

The number of midlander (more numerous) options seems something set when they made the game, probably thinking of midlander as the 'most popular' for some reason.

I'm not sure why we couldn't get more face 'kits' through the years, though. I don't really count the Midlander male 7 face because it was really a half-assed way of implementing a stubble on the face model they use for the WoL, because they could just made a brand new face for that, if that was the case.

As for eyebrows. I think that can be in the realm of possibilities, since face paints are textures. Hopefully indeed it gets contemplated without an 'airbrush' feel.

In the future, I'd like to have more Masculine male hairs- no more k-pop boyish hairs.
I understand that just because a hair is meant for male characters or is more male oriented, doesn't mean any of them look good. Having ugly hairstyles isn't something to look forward to & is frustrating to deal with if the character you envision isn't in anyway attainable.

Also, when will male highlanders have eyebrows? If new faces need to be made in order for them to have an actual selection of eyebrows then so be it. There is no lore reason than can be accepted as to why they can't have eyebrows by now. Maybe come DT & after? But I really believe there needs to be more push for such changes.

Same goes for feminine hairstyles; so much of the hairstyles we have are shoulder length & cutesy, looking like it belongs on a younger, adolescent character & we lack many mature feminine hairstyles.
I want to see in the future more Feminine long hairstyles, no more cutesy, or ugly 1-hero bang, no more shoulder length with some random silly braid.
I want to see long wavy hairstyles. Long fishtail & french styled braids, long maiden like hair. People can complain about clipping, but I personally don't give a crap about hair that clips. I'd much rather have long hair that clips than some childish looking hair or some ugly mullet.
I'd also like some decent pixie cuts and more diverse hairstyles like dreadlocks that don't just fall in your face.

If they're gonna give us short/medium hairstyles please have variety on them, they don't all need bangs (some hair strand(s) on their foreheads).

I've posted this in a separate thread too but... please make stubble a general facial feature. I'd be SO happy with the update if I could just add stubble to male Hyur face 5, but my current options right now are keep face 7, which still has the stubble but also adds 15 years to my boy and makes him look rather angry now, or switch to face 5, which is close to how he used to look but without stubble. This could be SO easy and I'm sad it isn't.

its ok! i love braids, so I think we could use some that look good. Im not a fan of short or shoulder length hairs which we have plenty of.

I don’t dislike long hair I just find lengths between the shoulders and ears more attractive as for braids they make hair appear to rigid and stiff to me

Or can we at least extend the Miqo'te male Face 2 beard options to the other faces? I use Face 2 because I love the beard, but I HATE the wrinkles on the forehead and the furrowed brow. I'm constantly trying to cover them up with hair, hats or bandannas with various levels of success.

The game needs more windswept messy hairstyles IMO. I can understand if that was a technical limitation before but with the graphical update they should be able to support lots of strands going everywhere now. Give us some wild manes, please! (Especially this one ;) )

I have just been on the FFXIV collect site and looks like Hildas hairstyle is on its way. I am out atm and on my mobile so cannot post the link. But yay rejoice and it is for all races and genders ^O^

It is called Head hound they have Zeros hair also I think. It is a store purchase though and not sure how long they take to add them.

Ill just repeat myself again bc this thread deserves lots of attention: the hairs of ryne, venat, gaia, nanamo, isayle, and minfillia’s long hair. Would also like it if all hairs just lost restrictions bc au ra have a pair of pigtails i think would look adorbs on my character.
