Just like with Savage Second Coil, the rewards aren't worth the hassle so I never intend to do savage. Not to mention even the devs have admitted they designed those fights poorly.

You attracted the kind of response you did for one reason and one reason only, your attitude. Instead of getting emo about it and looking for sympathy take it as a life lesson, don't go around claiming to be hot shit when you're not. Don't be absolute with others and dismiss their reasons for failure while making a load of cheap excuses to your own, "my DPS was low because I died on a carry but if the WHM was better it would have been fine" is a terrrible excuse and a terrible attitude.
Why do you think Kanye West gets the stick he does? Is it because he's black? nope. Is it because he's American? nope. Is it because he's rubbish? nope. Is it because he has cheeks like a hamster? nope. It's because he's unbelievably arrogant, it's because he tells everyone he's more important than Shakespeare, or Google or Apple when in reality he's just another generic RnB singer the world wont care about in a few more years.
Claiming you can max out any DPS class is annoying to the people that have maxed out a class, you made it sound trivial and easy when the reality is it's difficult to do, there isn't a player in this game that can max out every DPS easily like you claim because specialisation doesn't work like that. We can all follow a rotation but that's not maxing the class, it's playing it properly, not maxing it.
The point you where trying to make about lazy DPS has some merit, but it all got lost because of your attitude, learn from that what you will. Please note however how the thread went after your first withdrawal. People started discussing the problem rationally and with respect for each other, it could have been like that from the start but wasn't. Read the thread again and ask yourself why that is.

Idk, I don't want to tell ppl how they play, got to the point where to just let them do what they want. If can give some pointers, that's fine, but some demand to that particular player standard, take that somewhere else. Don't like how others do their DPS, just find a static or something, do the DF or any other content w/ that group to feel satisfied.
I used to complain about dps, until I started to adopt a chill attitude and entered the vault. I met with a healer with absolute no confidence in healing, but was trying very hard to. We wiped alot at the last boss. However, I felt, sometimes, people just needed alittle bit of positive encouragement. I think, to approach other players' mistakes with a positive tone will help diminish the I'll feelings of someone breathing up your neck about playing badly. In turn, the players are encouraged and might go ahead to encourage other players in return. We cleared the vault after 80 mins. And I felt that small step might be a start to some major improvements.
What is this hardcore dps mlg noscope 360 you speak of? I race chocobos and let minions battle each other like Pokemon.
I feel you may be missing part of the story on that BLM. That said parsing isn't everything, it can simply help you identify weak points in either yourself or your team. You can check it against your DPS partner or other people and see if you are performing to the average. If you see you are constantly between 500-700 and everyone else is 950-1250, then you know there is an issue.
I went to do my 60 roulette today, and decided to go on WHM instead of SMN (in part for the 15 min shorter queue time) and on the first pack of mobs, I realized I was going to lose my 15 minutes pretty quick. The pack that normally dies in less than 30 seconds took 4 minutes or so. I've never seen that pack die as slowly as it did, even back when I had 150 gear. An S rank popped later in the dungeon, so I peaced - it wasn't because of the low DPS but the low DPS definitely reinforced my decision.
I am not saying a parser would suddenly make these guys better players, but it may help some people obtain perspective on their performance.
I know the biggest argument against parsers is it encourages harassment, and overall I am against that. However, after reading the countless posts of people defending poor performance, I am leaning more and more towards pro-harassment (not really, but I am going crazy over here).
Honestly, I cannot tell if your post is a troll and/or sarcastic post. However, if you are serious..
Please, don't be a VIT Bard. No one is a VIT Bard. If you stack up VIT accessories, you are losing out on a lot of DEX which equals your attack power. It severely reduces your damage output and you become a major hindrance to your team. You're making the job harder on the healer, the tank and the other DPS. And honestly, the healer probably does more dps than you in that scenario.
