As I stated in my post. No new egis. They want us to focus on the player rather than do anything to the egis.

So instead of new pets Summoner and Bahamut do fusion

Sounds like they're getting WoW's Demonology Warlock treatment(Metamorphosis), where you change form.
You take on the power of Bahamut for some time and then switch back.
Instead of more summons they went for becoming a summon yourself?

Oh I know, it was more so rhetorical. Like...think the way Samuel Jackson says it lol.

I wouldn't call it becoming the summon so much as buffing yourself. No change in your character's appearance. You use aetherflow to get stacks of a buff. When you have enough stacks you activate Dreadwyrm Trance (another buff), and when you have the Dreadwyrm Trance active, you get a new attack.

So, in 2.2 we were promised egis. They completely broke SMN in 2.4. Now we find out we don't get the new egis we were promised and no mention of the "balancing" of the pets that had been mentioned before many times. Time to roll BLM. SE seem way more interested in making sure BLM are saved even if it's at the expense of other classes.

Where does this information come from anyway, suddenly I just see an new post that says nl new egis, but no link to where the info can be foumd?
