Had a tank full clear the haunted house. Not really a complaint, just had never seen someone systematically clear every single room in there before. He even walked down all the stairs. Got the mapping achievement out of it.

If people don't get that blue fire off. Might as well just prepare for a raise. That's what happened on my run awhile back that I posted here. The one where we were rushing to complete it before the server went down. They were lucky I play red mage. :p

Back in the day, the extra experience used to be worth the full clear.

I checked after and half the group was from Coeurl so they were probably trashing the RDM in their private chats too.

Edit - Just checked the lodestone. The 2 healers and the MNK are in the same FC, the GNB isn’t so he gets a pass from me.

Yeah, I know Aurum Vale has a bad reputation but I genuinely enjoy it. The first room is a lot of fun to navigate as it can be traversed in a number of ways and there's the constant threat of the pools to deal with. It has something special that the more linear dungeons lack.

Most runs I'm in we still do this, since it's usually coming up in a levelling roulette where most people still need the xp. It's quick and easy to do by running through to the goldvine(s) and letting the seeds catch up once they hatch, so it's not even going out of your way to do it.

With all the hunts i did made, and plenty of time to look at them, i did come to the conclusion that some hits and skills generate more hate than some others. As a DRK i always have a very hard time to generate as much hate as warriors, even less stuffed ones. A thing that never happen with paladins or gunbreakers, so it isn't a matter of me badly playing my job, or it would happen with them too (plus DRK is braindead easy to play anyway). Since all tanks dps are equal this expac, the only logical conclusion i see is that all the garanteed crit and direct hits of warriors generate tons more of hate at once than my skills. In short i do as much dps as them, but generate less hate because of the way DRK is working.

This explanation also fit with your dragoon and mage problem. Even if the DRG has a good dps, he need a very long time compared to other jobs to do his full rotation and unleash some his later damage skills. While mages like BLM and RDM can launch big nukes way sooner than you.

Huh? RDM doesn't suddenly drop nukes out of nowhere in fact its skills' potencies are comparable to dragoon's and you don't get to use your big damage nukes until you've built up enough b/w mana gauge AND used your melee combo.

I like running with the Squadron for this reason when leveling alts 47-53. I can clear everything in the first room and hatch every seedling and they still finish faster than most pugs, with instant queues.
