yeah almost always beside one or 2 fc recruiting for new members. Other then that big hunting community in eng, in dutys just select eng only and most of the time its only eng speaking players.

So I see many people made the threads already. So I am chiming in too for the devs to see.

I was CONSTANTLY at 50-56ms ping out of Virginia.

Server moved. I am now in the 95-125ms

While I have no intentions of leaving. I will comment I feel pretty disappointed over this change and would vote too to be more centralized.

From 90+ with 10-15% packet loss to 27-30 with 0% packet loss

I'm not going to quit but honestly what irks me the most is that the exact same company (NTT) has a major brand new datacenter in Dallas they could have used.

Also in VA, 80ms -> 120ms. Haven't played today but can't imagine it's honestly that much worse. However, there's tons of people who have it significantly worse than me, and I can empathize with them.

e: Also 0% packet loss. Can't remember if I was experiencing packet loss before, though.

says im 97-115, but in-game, i get some spike lag that last 1sec every 5 to 10min, and its usually when i need to dodge, kinda annoying.

I'm central EU and mine has gone up from 90-100 to 190. I did some quick EX primal runs and it doesn't feel as bad as I'd feared, gonna have to test A12S with its rather tight Radiant Sacraments next.

Anyone know if we can try to get this on the Letters to the Producers as a question? Would be nice to hear their throughts on this after all of us on the forum crying out.

I agree with the statements that even a more central USA one, some may have better/worse pings, but least no one would be super bitter about it since they know its more centralized. We on the east coast (Yes Beach here) and the north end of USA... just got hurt by this.

Went from 70ms to 125ms.... is really annoying. Plus I keep getting random stutters now and then.

Whoever designed the new servers is a bloody moron.

Ping before 170, ping now 300... cant play anymore hope this get better tomorrow.

Ping went from 40-60 to 120-130, really great upgrade glad the cash shop paid to permanently nerf me. Other players also now rubber band around instead of walking/running normally.

I went from the 260 ping to 180 ping, I no longer have to pay extra every month to make this game playable. I for one, love the change

My latency more than doubled, from 40ms to 100-120, with more stuttering (tiny lag spikes) than before. This feels objectively worse.

My ping is increased from 60ms to 100ms (NJ). I do not see any issue and will give a few weeks before jump into any conclusion.

eh yoshida already said if your under 200 then your fine in this game over that you start experiencing problems so chill people and honestly atleast were not as bad as some of the pings ive seen from australia

edit: also the servers are new give it some time there in a new zone on the map there will obviously need to be some adjustments on the server side of things to alleviate some of these problems

What IP are you all targeting for your pings/traces?

on the east coast, Florida. Play on PS4. literally no change at all.

Give them a few weeks before you stop playing. I believe SE will work with NTT to improve the route.

I went from 35 ms to 105 ms, so a triple increase. None too pleased. And that's using WTFast, would be 120 ms otherwise.

Okay, some of this is starting to get a little ridiculous. Boycott? Over 100ms? Really.

This is a really good point. I'm rapidly losing sympathy for people on the US east coast who are acting like they've been stabbed in the heart over this. I don't remember throngs of people on the west coast acting this way during the 3+ years that the game's servers were ~2500 miles from us. And we've been playing the game just fine during that time.

This makes no sense. I AM sympathetic to the plight of South American players, because apparently, some of you have greatly worse ping after the move. (I'm also sympathetic to EU players who've been on an NA server for years and now have to choose whether or not to move). But this statement is nonsense. Some people are getting higher ping, some people are getting lower ping. Everyone on the west coast has improved; everyone on the east coast has been downgraded. This downgrade is not massive. Everyone in the middle is staying more or less the same, for the most part.

Also why are we leaving out the Pacific? Everyone who lives WEST of the continental west coast has gotten a nice break in ping from this. So yeah, South American people may have way worse ping, but Australians and New Zealand'ers and etc. now have much BETTER ping.

Again, I am sympathetic to SA folks. But my point is, this claim (and I've seen this mentioned SEVERAL times now in a few different threads) that those of us whose ping got better better watch out because "so many players" now have worse ping than before is nonsense.

True. As I said in one of the other threads: yeah, this sucks. There's not really a good solution here. Yes, they "should have" simply been playing on the EU servers from the start (even back when they were physically in Montreal, they were still labeled as EU), but it's pretty understandable why many didn't, and why they wouldn't want to leave now, if it's a server they've been playing on for a long time.

You conveniently left out Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Not to mention Mexico - South America may have gotten a downgrade, but a large portion of Mexico got an upgrade, too, and the part that didn't basically stayed the same.

Which would have meant that people in Calgary, Seattle, and Vancouver/Victoria would have worse ping than they do now (all of those places are a shorter distance to Sacramento than they are to Dallas OR to Montreal).

If they had picked Dallas, and people in Vancouver or Calgary or Seattle (with around 100-120ms ping) had created threads on the forums calling for an NA boycott and lambasting this as the worst decision in the history of the game, would all of you on the east coast who are complaining about this be like "yeah, I hear you folks, totally let's boycott, it's not fair that you have to put up with no improvement - and in some cases WORSE ping - after the move!"

Or would you be like "lol come on, your ping isn't that bad. This isn't a big deal. And you can't expect the whole continent to boycott just cause a few areas have worse ping, sheesh."

I think we all know the answer to that.

I'm in north Texas and mine's at 90 now last I checked.

Well, I went from 260 ping to 180 ping (New Zealander here) So I don't plan to boycott. I finally don't have to pay extra money every month to play the same game as you guys. Especially since I don't expect an AU server any time soon, if ever.

My ping dropped by about 100, and my packet loss went down to 0%. We're in good shape.

I dealt with it being in Ontario before. Y'all are spoiled.
