Amdapor Keep Changes Unfair

I hope developers read this thread and piss ppl off further. They mixed it up because it was too easy, keep complaining and keep saying how easy it is to cap your weekly philosophy tomes and i bet they lower the cap. Stop bitching and take the changes as they happen cause end of the day they run the game and if you dont like it your within your rights to leave and not subscribe just as SE are within their rights to change the service they provide as they see fit.

I can bang my head against a wall for 60 hours, and that doesn't make it difficult. That only makes it monotanous and frustrating. The only thing difficult is maintaining a sense of self-respect after doing something like that.

If SE intends to continue to run the game in a way that is so patently unentertaining, then yes, I will unsubscribe and leave. I'd imagine a lot of people will.

They also lowered the hp of the second and third boss making them considerably easier. No game developer is looking to lose subscriptions you goofball, this isn't some survival of the fittest shit, take your head out of your ass. They fixed something they saw as an exploit.

Of course most people would agree to make the trash worthwhile assuming they were balanced mentally, but that's really up to SE and if they want to reward or punish users for a necessary grind.

Yoshida already confirmed they are gonna change trash in dungeons so they are worthwhile to kill...they just haven't decided on what/how they are gonna do it yet.

To all the QQrs demanding people who "exploited" the dungeon through speedruns and want their gear gone...they earned their gear just as anybody else did. Did anybody EVER complain about trash being too hard in AK? Oh right...it's the bosses they had problems with...namely Demon Wall...well guess what...Speedrunners had to to fight the bosses and they did it fast, cause they knew how and what to do...skipping useless and time consuming trash that serves no purpose except for making the dungeon a timesink was never part of the difficulty...

People who demand something like these sort of "penalties" as in get banned, or gear removed...those are usually the people who were too bad of a player at that time to actually get Speedruns done and now they got better but can't exploit it themselves anymore...hypocrites...

Well, clearly you joined in close to the launch of WOTLK. You also clearly didn't play a Tank.
Why do i know that?
Easy. Originally Karazan had a fairly long attunement process, involving several unpopular Heroic Dungeons. This could take 5 hours or so, depending on how lucky you were in /Trade getting a good group to do all the dungeons for the Key parts.
You certainly didn't tank Karazan with Greens, because you needed the Heroic blues/purples to achieve Defense cap so you didn't get crit. Many Raiding Guilds wouldn't take a Warrior Tank if they didn't have a Suneater.

Also, specifically at your comment over the number of dungeons, all of WoW's Heroics were just the leveling Dungeons with a level cap mode.
Something which, by the way, is coming to us soon. They already announced that 2 of the current dungeons will have Hard Modes in 2.1.
IIRC there were no 70 only non-heroic dungeons. They were 68 - 70.
As for time taken to complete an old WoW BC era Heroic, you were looking at an hour or so for Shattered Halls for one, and i still have nightmares about PuGs in Shadow Labyrinth.
Not only that, but you got 3 - 5 Badges per heroic, once a day per Heroic, and needed anywhere from 25 - 150 Badges for some of that Badge Loot.
Hell, all this at a time before the LFG tool to auto group you. Good luck finding Tanks and Healers competent enough to run half of those Heroics, and triple good luck finding DPS who know how to CC properly. Very few hunters were ever capable of Trapping properly.
And classic WoW not being a grind for raiding gear? are you kidding me? did you ever actually play WoW? The Raid attunements alone often took forever due to lack of people capable of running the required content unless you had a good Guild.

Rose tinted goggles are amazing.

AK is fine. I greatly enjoyed the entire dungeon. Chatting with the PuG tank we got between Trash pulls, and generally just taking it easy. Same for CM and TP. Im not in a rush to see all the Raid content in the first day of being 50. I'm just slowly accruing my Tomes, gathering up my gear, polishing my rotation and generally learning how to be a better Monk in Dungeon and Raid settings.

I'll be playing this game for a very long time, plenty of time to see everything whenever i happen to get there. Pity more people couldn't have my attitude.

While it does suck people got to get their equipment extremely fast just be happy you have a goal to work towards.

Let us think of FFXI and grinding for levels in a PARTY (until Abyssea and WotG launched) and not spamming FATE's all day. Then doing a full story to get to Limbus, or Sky. Think of the farming that it took to get to Omega or Ultima or to spawn Kirin or farming Ulli before it became a forced spawn. Then add to that the RNG of getting your abjurations to drop from Gods or armor from Limbus. Fact of the matter is you are supposed to work for your gear. Not get it handed to you in a few days of doing dungeons. This is a game built from a Japanese model which means you will grind for your gear and it will not be handed right to you.. God forbid you can't click your heels and a piece of armor drops from the sky. This is an MMO - it's not meant to be beaten and finished the first month it's out (unlike SW:TOR lolol).

Chill out about the gear man, it's not real, it's lol-game-gear.

Why are you playing a Final Fantasy? For Mor Duuuuur grinding? Come on, ask yourself what it is about the coils that are so enticing? All the cool kids? When did you start caring about that?
Go help some new players beat a level 20 Ifrit. Isn't the gratitude you'll get from doing that worth anything? They will totally bone-peen your high level too.
Try and catch all the fish in one place. Go take pictures of your character somewhere for the memories, you did play here, why not keep something to remember it in 30 years?
All that crap will be there tomorrow, and the day after that it'll all be obsolete and you can just do AK for completion on the way to the next soon-to-be obsolete lol-game-gear.

Castrum is still a good way to grind out Philo tomes for DL gear. The change to speedruns actually changed the dungeons people are doing for tomes each week. Now it's two instead of one. I understand why some people are upset, but really you can finish Castrum (or Praetorium, really) in around 30 minutes for 100 tomes. Sure, AK speedruns got to be like ten minutes for 80, but still the rate at which you can get Darklight gear is still pretty fast. Myth tomes are artificially capped per week, and 8 hours per week really isn't that bad for capping tokens for raid gear.
