I love viewing cutscenes in dungeons. And everybody can stuff it. Also for the viewers saying you can view all the cutscenes in your inn room, you are wrong. Only some of them are up there. There are cutscenes you can only view in a dungeon, particularly midfight.
I love being a tank because without me, they rush ahead, they die very quickly so its no skin off my back.
There's only a few times I skip scenes, like ifirt hardmode, and thats because once you see it once you seen it a million times. Other then that though, forget about it.

Thankfully i didn't had this problem yet.To bo honest, i don't mind new players that want to see the CSs AT ALL .Players who are rude saying that you have to skip the CS have a serious problem, as some other players said in this thread, if this rushers don't want newbies on their party, why the hell are they using the DF? we will never know.

I watched cutscenes and after said scene, I had to sprint others to catch them. But they didn't lash out on me.
Even on final one when I was watching cutscenes, without listening full voice acting (speed reader), they actually thanked me for it.
Altought I wish I had time to listen it all, japanese voice acting is so neat.

I skipped most of them aside from a certain few. I just couldn't get drawn into the story like some of you could sadly it seems.

If experienced groups are taking a player who is new to the dungeon then they need to be prepared to make allowances or don't take new players. It's really that simple.
Personally, when I do runs I make it an effort to let people view the cut scenes. I know that I dislike being rushed and interrupted when viewing said cut scenes so why should I do it to others?
I also make sure that everyone is there/ready before engaging the boss. Granted, I have yet to do much endgame but I don't think my attitude will change even when I get to that stage.

I love this thread. 2 people, name " The Dragoon " and " Final Fantasy' ", asked me to skip the cutscene and called me a dick. We had 50 minutes to spare at the end of the game. And I didn't even skip ANY CUTSCENES. They're both stupid. And instead of waiting for us, they went on ahead. They left me and a Dragoon player out of one fight. They're the one rushing for the items or whatever. If they want a speed run, why couldn't they form their own group? Or go with their guildies for god's sake. They think they're so good and pro. When I died, I had a 15% reduction from my health and they told me to go, right away to fight the last boss. I totally can tank that with my 15% reduced health.
So impatient. I even apologized for watching the cutscenes and they still acted like complete jerks. I didn't even need to apologize and one of them say "Don't apologize if you don't mean it." I only apologized because I can understand their impatience but I still want to enjoy the story line. This is just me ranting but god damn, having to spent that much time with them annoyed the hell out of me. I wasn't the only one watching the cutscene either but they picked on me. So stupid and ridiculous. I'm glad there's no kick, cause if there was, I would have been kicked and wasted an hour of hard work.
To all you new players, ENJOY THE CUTSCENES. Don't feel pressured to skip. Ignore the douchebags and jerks. Don't even bother replying. Ignore them!

Been insulted in The Praetorium for all the run because I was watching all the cutscenes.
Didn't care, ignored what they were saying and kept watching them because it was my first time and I care for the story.
I think that everyone who's there for their first time have the right to watch them and enjoy the story.
If you're not ok with it, you don't have the right to insult them, and you can put up your own group, with blackjack and hookers, who's gonna skip them all.

People will wait for me to watch my cutscenes, and I'm 100% honeybadger toward their impatience.
For what it's worth, I never had any issues like this. As you can see, I am not 50. My point is, I think the people who race to 50 are the most impatient. The majority of the community is not there yet, and I think we will help dilute the impetuousness of some of the current 50's. ;)

I've never been so ticked off as I was last night in a Praetorium run. Four of us were running together and all of us really enjoy the storyline and have NO intention of skipping it just because other people have their panties in a wad and want to speed run. And no, watching it in the inn is not an option for us.... But that didn't stop one Lala Black Mage from trying to ruin the run for my friend who had not done it yet and was seeing it fresh. Besides hurling insults at us, the little S.O.B decided to pull the 'final final' boss while we were watching the cut scene and beat him with the other 3 people, none of the 4 of us, so my friend didn't even get to take part in that fight. WTF is WRONG with you people, that you can't let someone enjoy the story as written??? Entitled little brat was so hot to trot that he couldn't wait a few minutes to let someone see the culmination of their work and story? You have ZERO right to do that to people. If you want to speed run, you go get 7 other like-minded people but you don't go out to ruin the gameplay of half of the party, including one of the healers and one of the tanks.
Grow. Up. Seriously, people.

I'll never skip cutscenes my first time seeing them. I'm playing this game for the story, first and foremost. The story is good enough that it deserves that.
