[Petition] Have Naoki Yoshida Play Healer and take off the DPS Gloves for a year.

Still doesn't explain any benefit from Yoshida himself doing it. He's not the one who works on those... and he's not the type of personality who prefers healers. What we want are people on the dev team who have that personality type. Specifically on the live balance, or whatever FFXIV's dev team's subunit who handles game balance is called, team.

Yoshida isn't the only person on the team. And he doesn't just... stand there dictating balance changes to the team. I guarantee you that's not the way it works. They have a team who handles this who uses data and feedback and comes up with changes, then gets them implemented, then the playtesters test them.

As someone who generally likes healing in games... the last thing I want is for someone who isn't a healer to be forced into playing healer and then changing healing to match what would be fun for them as a non-healer. That is a recipe for disaster.

The same feedback that said remove kaiten?
The same feedback that said cutting ears is ok?
Or the same "lack" of feedback drk gave on LD until it was changed after many long years?

Or the feedback that said healers are happy pressing one button and have healers be an almost copy pasted templates with super shallow diff between?

To be clear - I'm not suggesting nothing should change. I'm just suggesting that forcing Yoshida to play healer won't help the way you think it will. It is a stupid idea that won't resolve the problem you have. There are two possible outcomes: nothing changes because he just assumes he's the wrong personality type for it and does nothing... or he gets miserable and starts making stupid changes that don't help anything because he's the wrong personality type for it.

You'd be better off asking for them to eat a watermelon tomorrow. It has the same likelihood of fixing healers as forcing Yoshida to play a healer.

Or the 3rd option, he is misreable and hate how boring they are that he,i dont know, hire a healer job designer to actually design interesting and different healer?

You're assuming he would be able to see the problems healers have with the role even though he isn't the type of person who would enjoy it even if those problems were fixed.

Think of it this way:

Bob is the owner of a restaurant. Bob doesn't like salmon at all regardless of how it is prepared and knows that he will never like a salmon dish.
Bob's chef has a salmon dish on the menu. You don't like the salmon dish and want it changed.
Forcing Bob to eat the salmon dish isn't going to change it... because Bob knows he's not the target audience for Salmon so he knows he wouldn't like it regardless of how it was prepared, so he's not going to judge whether the salmon dish is good or not based off of his own tastes.

And do you think the players who express discontent with the current healer design in the English language forums are representative of that intended audience?

Whoever the "intended audience" is, there's a good chance it isn't represented by you, me or most of the people who post here. After all, what fraction of the player base even reads the forums, much less posts to then? So a little humility is in order.

That said, whoever the intended audience is, judging from FFXIV's sales figures and reviews, SE is making them happy.

Note: I didn't call ANYONE stupid. I said the ideas were stupid. And I stand by that. Smart people have stupid ideas all the time. Sometimes people need to recognize that what they're asking for has no basis in logic and won't help anything so they can take a step back and stop focusing on a bad idea so they can put their considerable mental capacity towards a more productive direction.
