Leylines should be paired with Raging Strikes. It's 90 seconds and RS is 180 seconds. So if there's no downtime ahead, the maximal DPS gain would be to use it right away. There's no need to sync it an Enochian cycle because you'll have Leylines up during Umbral Ice. It's inevitable.

Hey Aikaal, got a question regarding AoE. Now I've noticed that in the guide you talk about F2x2 > Flare is probably better without maintaining enochian. But one thing I didn't see in there (unless I just missed it) is maintaining enochian actually allows for a third Fire 2.

I'm not sure if this is just my piety, but I can Fire 2x3 > Flare > transpose > Blizzard IV > Fire 3 > repeat. The blizzard IV gives another mp tick plus maintains the 5% buff. I'm just wondering if this would be optimal or just still the old 2.0 aoe rotation?

I've just read Aikaal's updated AoE rotation. Do they consider the downtime after flaring and building up stacks and mp? I'm wondering if a mix of 0-4 F4 and 1-4 FIRE F2 could do better dps, especially if swiftcast isn't up.
IE
F4 F4 F2 F4 F4 B4 ... F3 for pseudo AOE
F2 F2 F2 B4 ... F3 for pure AOE

Also, anyone knows what the accuracy cap for savage 1/2 are?

I did not consider a 3rd Fire II. To me, you need to respect Transpose CD (12secs) and you need to use Flare as much as possible so anything that makes a rotation go for like 18 seconds is something I do not look into x.x

Don't know the accuracy caps. I don't miss in A3S with 585 Accuracy so...

I did the maths and the downtime after Flare applies to any rotation. It depends on the server MP tick. Of course since we transpose and wait 1 MP tick, if you were to have an AoE rotation that is about 14 seconds. You'd only wait 1 second for your MP tick. You can F4 and F2 to get a mix of single target and AoE but usually when you're asked to AoE, you don't single target. The answer to our AoE is to get as many Flares as possible despite the nerf.

To be honest, I don't even believe in BLM AoE anymore, I go SMN in A2S :\

Hey guys, I am so frustrated right now.
My static is still trying to down Faust, but somehow my dps can't even reach the 1000 mark.
My dps on Faust alone is 999. I use Marron Glace and Mega potion of int. We have 2 monks, 1 summoner. I'm doing the rotation perfectly and I am even timing my Thunder procs within ice astral. (I know I am not losing dps since everytime I did the thunder proc, I would push in more dps. I am even thinking on going SMN >.>
btw (it is not just my dps, that's holding us back)

It's hard to pinpoint where you are falling short without watching you or seeing the ACT line chart that displays at the bottom of a parse. Some basic things though, make sure you are squeezing in all 6 fire 4s within the raging strikes timer on pull, the pot should stay on for the first five fire 4s, this makes a big difference as blm is a fairly front loaded job meaning the opener is extremely important to your dps. Use ley lines on cd in faust, no reason not to do so. What is your ilvl? is atleast 180? higher? lower? I need more information to help. The line chart one the bottom of ACT should resemble a heart rate monitor chart, it will level out if you manage to bridge your ice phase with a tcloud however.

Hmm. I'm consistently between 1250 and 1350 on Faust. Not sure why yours would be so much lower. I would suggest using a Sohm Al Tart instead. You shouldn't have accuracy issues. Also X-potions or Dracanian potions will help slightly if you can afford it. You also shouldn't be using every thundercloud proc. Not saying you you are, just keep that in mind. It's only better if it can tick it's full duration, so clipping it isn't good and you don't need it for movement in Faust.. Other than that, no trick attack from ninja. No crit buff from dragoon.
