Unable to complete version check. [30410][30607][20457][409]

If this really is the problem then that would explain why mine isn't updating. My version is stuck on 2014.01.18.0000.0001

what version is your launcher because mine right now is 2014.01.18.0000.0001

edit - never mind saw the other post also dont post it here or the Moderators may delete the posts. Also does anyone know how to update the launcher if you are stuck at 2014.01.18.0000.0001

Thanks for this info I was able to fix it with this by forcing the launcher to update by doing the following.

go to Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\ open up FFXIV_BOOT.cfg in word pad or notepad.

you should see this

Region 2
EulaAgreement 1
StartupCompleted 1
B4EulaAgreement 1
BootVersionCheckMode 0
ConfigReset 0

the line in bold is the key change the 0 to a 1 and it forces it to check version upon opening the launcher.

After doing this it updated launcher and the game fine.

This fixed it for me,after it updated i logged in and the patch is currently downloading :)
