Getting upset on small things won't help you survive the harsh world we live in. There are far worse things to be upset about. Just be happy you are still alive and able to play a game than be in another country were war is happening.
It... depends.
If it's just allowing people to pick male/female pronounces without variations (like a lot of genderfuild folks tend to have, for instance) - then it should be (arguably) easy, because it won't require any rework other than adding a dedicated switch button for that, which will make NPC adress to you as male Lalafell even if the model is female, for example. Adding that button is another issue by itself and may turn out to be more time consumable than it looks to be, but otherwise it shouldn't cause any serious troubles (since the text itself won't be changed).
If it's something more inclusive that would require rewriting replics in existing dialogues, it probably won't be very feasible, given the amount of text in the game. May be easier to write entire book from scratch than this.
Meh, going to be called a transphobe for this, but I really do not buy into the the notion that inclusion is always worth the price. Sure if it had no cost associated with it I would be all for it. Though the reality is that is not the case.
On a side note it is becoming more of a norm, now at work we had an HR meeting about how we must ask individuals for their name and pronouns. Not going to lie it was weird for me. Even in our team which is mostly 20 something year olds many were making jokes at the expense of the two LGBTQ+ members of our team. So while I do think it will become the norm, forcing the issue personally seems to cause more harm then good in the eyes of closed groups.

A lot of the people who think otherwise will also argue unironically that adding characters for no other reason than to be a token presence is also good. It's silly people who don't get that companies aren't doing it because they understand and agree with your point.. they do it because they think scoring woke points will be to their financial benefit. That's why we call it 'pandering' and why most dislike it.
I would love for this to be an option so I could play a femme looking male Au Ra as a woman and finally be a tall Au Ra woman, but I understand that this would take a lot of work, even simply switching dialogue options.
Mods please do not remove this. I need this thread tomorrow during breaks at work. I feed on delusion.
Thank you!

Does being transgender/non-binary make you hyper vigilant about pronouns? Is that symptom of depression and anxiety originating from pain caused by dysphoric feelings, or is that just normal and healthy thing?
Askin as cis-f who plays male character/s.
NPCs calling my character he/him never made me wanna crawl out of my skin; NPCs practically calling me he/him never made me wanna crawl out of my skin.
Don't wanna denigrate OP's friend's pain, but in my heart of hearts, personally, I see only negligible problem.
