About the looks of the new raid gear

Looking at a comparison between the winning design and the finished product:

I kind wish they stuck closer to the designs proportions, particularly the sleeves, the collar, the hat, the shoes, and how low the hemline is. I do like how it fits around the waist, how it flares out at the hemline, and garterbelt-socks though.

We better not get yet another freaking robe for male healers. I like this design since it's finally NOT A ROBE. It's bad enough the original shorts and long boots will be replaced with boring, generic pants for guys- don't ruin it even more by giving us yet another stupid "not a dress because we say it isn't" (P.S. you still can't wear 99% of the skirts and dresses in the game because reasons).

I feel like SE's designers would rather design female outfits and stop making anything for guys going forward.

Seeing as they needed to assemble a female team to work on the male bunny outfit, you might not be too far off. imo, the best example of lopsided design effort were the non-knight male GARO sets' generic pants/boots/gloves/headpieces vs. the females :c

Heres to hoping they realized the model is a guy, I'd like to enjoy at least one of the winning contest outfits.

The pants on the caster winner are just like some of the Shisui sets, so I wouldn't be worried about them hiding skin. I think it's pretty fug either way, but the healer or tank set might look better. Actually, the theoretical tank set could fulfill the players wanting Barbarian inspired gear with the exposed skin and skull motif.
