Agreed, at very least codes should be available for digital copies too and no photo required.

Agreed, my FC has two EU members; I've heard how bad this has been run. I don't know why they chose a magazine that sounds like it's failing. I understand there were false purchases made with Amazon, but there's always going to be a handful cheaters. It feels like the option was not even explored for the EU.
If I really wanted that outfit, I'm not going to feel bad if I score a code. My other option is to sit on my hands in the dark & hope a regional office rather infamous for non-communication is going to, for once, be communicative.
EU client covers a lot more than 50 countries. Though I take your point. Wasn't saying not for non-UK to not do it, just something to think about.
This is something SE should have considered when they made this promotion and decided to withhold information regarding what other areas will get and when. Like this, we do not feel there is a guarantee we will actually get one considering SE's track record with doing things for PAL areas. The UK promotion is extra vulnerable for having others use it since it is in English, making it accessible to more people.
As is, this might be the one shot for a lot of us to get the maid outfit, so the third issue is going to be in high demand and a lot of people will miss out.
Thank you for your reply!
I have bought the magazine just in case, because there is no update about other countries in the EU except for the UK.
Also my friend gave me a code but that was for the NA account and it did not work because I have an EU account. This sucks honestly. >.<
Hi guys, I didn't see any updates with this so I figured I'd drop it by.

Congrats to Australia!
Australia promotion seems to be good! :O
YAY thank you for updating! :D
Hmmm I don't see a lodestone announcement about it tho D:
But yay! Australia event finally here!
Good work, AU/NZ team! That store actually has a lot of good stuff I might enjoy. Shame they don't deliver outside AU/NZ, but this gives me hope for the other promos!
So there's no way to purchase from outside AUS/NZ? D:
Great job SE on the Australian promotions, so much more reasonable than the UK :)
Unfortunately, no.
"Due to licensing, we only supply to Australia and New Zealand."
The rest of us will still have to wait. But seeing this promo and there being no hassle with 3 months of purchases, photo and stuff like that, and people being able to get everything immediately, I have faith in other campaigns again.
Correct me if im wrong but i can't participate on this campaign as a EU player, right ?
Damn i would buy those $30 right now if i could :(
Technically, you can. But you won't get your merchandise. It's best if you have someone in Australia or New Zealand that can take the stuff you order and you keep the key.
Well at least this shows that we may not need to wait till these other promotions end, to get more promotions...but why is this not on the lodestone? Hopefully this means that other promotions will have something similar..

Its up there now, they were a bit late on posting it but all's well ^^
Thanks for proving that you really don't give a chocobo dung about UK, I'm sorry but our promotion was a ridiculous mess. Having us being the only ones so far that have had to wait 3 months and for something that no one wants. Also each country has got various different amounts to spend it should be the same for each country.
GG SE what a great way for belgium to get their items -> 1 place in the center of the country
We Italians suck. Italian laws suck too, so I think it will be better if they give this for 25€ on the mogstation LOL
THAT's exactly the point, a lot of people asked for those items and yet we have:
- Stupid commercials attempt: give a photo you to an unknow magazine in the UK, go to a pub in France and drink for 24€...
Why didn't you just put in the cash shop ? And it would've been the same price for everyone....
Had they released this info earlier, I would have skipped UK magazine completely.. a bit too late now when I've 2/3 obtained.
"Make a qualifying purchase of at least €19.99 (or 199 kr) at local GameStop stores in Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden to receive a promotional code."So much easier and faster..
"Once you have your code, visit the redemption website to receive your in-game item codes."
Hmm people seem to be happy about it, and i'm glad there is a opportunity now at least but...
Have you guys actually looked through the catalogue? There really is nothing I would ever buy so I'm feeling a little sad about it.
Maybe I'll try find something I think I can resell on ebay...or give as a gift.
I am still sitting here pondering how are the players living in the EU countries nobody cares about supposed to get the items when everything is "local"...
Another punch to completionists' faces.
If you have been as unlucky as me to be born in a country that is not favored by SE, you either take a very long and expensive trip (that will cost you more than the promotion) to participate in the promotion in a different country or you deal with the fact that you will miss on another mount.
Every physical promotion will exclude some countries because it is just not possible to put it into every European country. They need to make it digital.
Now I'm so confused. This is what was posted on the Lodestone earlier:
And this is the campaign regions:Quote:
Note: Separate campaigns offering the same in-game items are currently being planned for those residing in: France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and Nordic territories. Further details on these campaigns will be posted at a later date.
Since when is Ireland a Nordic country? Is it a typo or is Iceland shafted like I expected?Quote:
Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden
I can't say I personally dislike the Nordic promotion since I'm lucky enough to live in one of the cities it's available in, but for others it could be more than a two hour drive away.
Disgusted and disappointed at this "promotion" Any attempts at finding the magazine in my local town was impossible and I refuse to send in a photo of myself to some magazine just to claim something that most of my friends in my FC have received just for buying something on amazon.com. And then to add insult onto injury you make the promotion easier to get in other countries.
Why they can't put it on the cash shop I don't know. The money would go straight to them. This is silly.
Least AU/NZ got a good one.
But did they? The AU one is an anime store, with very little $30 items. US got Amazon videogames, while Japan got 7/11 items. EU still got a horrible deal but.
It's confusing why they'd use GameStop for Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden but not use EB Games for AU. (Same store, different name). But it fits with this absolute mess of an event.
I hope Germany gets to the event with GameStop
LOCAL stores? Here I thought us UK players might've still had a damn chance at getting the attire. So unless I happen to know someone in Ireland I'm utterly screwed, great.
I live 10 hours away from the closest gamestop store in this country :(
