NiN in ffxi was made a tank, if that can happen i dont see why Dark Knight cant be a tank in FFXIV.. heck it even makes more sense -

Granted, if they make it an evasion tank like they are saying..this might lead to some interesting situations with healers and 2.0 warriors.
And those harping me about 2.0 warriors being an awful example...it was to show that DRK mechanics can be used in a tanking scenario. Yes, the mechanics themselves were flawed but that was because players didn't like the extra stress.
This wasn't be arguing about if the class will be successful tanking or not. This was me talking about DRK mechanics being implemented for tanking. Eesh. Way to miss the point. -

For all the people arguing over Dark Knight's legacy and what not the real reason the class is a tank has somehow gone ignored. Tanks are unplayed and people were excited to play DRK, this is their way of trying to draw people to an underplayed role just like tanks getting exclusive mounts was.
