It would be nice to be able to repair your gear without switching to the crafting class. As long as you have the levels to do it just click repair.
When you have to switch classes the gear you were wearing that you wanted to repair goes back into your inventory and you have to hunt it out, especially annoying if you pick weaver first then see it was leather gloves so switch again and find it again.
I want our own debuffs to be bigger and always shown furthest to the left among the monster's debuffs. So it's easier to keep track. Them just being green numbers atm doesn't cut it :D
Please Impliment a way for players to compare gear side by side when they scroll over a piece of gear. I.E. When I scroll over a gear from quest or in the shop, it will show up compared to what I currently have so I can see the stats side by side....also so I don't pick something I already have.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but it would be useful for the hotbar tips to be transparent.
I realise people set up their UI differently to others but my HP is below it and if I am hovering over my hotbar in combat I can't see my HP.
Make it possible to write to person who is selling on markets. I have the urge to tell people who are intentionally lowering prices while it sells great at current price how I feel about them.
auto-respawn our minions when we came back from duties.
I got this idea from another player but instead of a single recipe i would like books. Please make 2 recipe books that are unique to each dungeon and is droped from the boss chest and that are pink and green.
Each of the 2 unique dungeon recipe books once used it gives the player a single one-of-a-kind recipe that is different from each other added to each Disciple of Hand recipe list, and please make it that these can only be obtained once per user character and not farmed.
I was doing a lot of fates last night and I noticed a pretty annoying problem. A lot of the time fate groups just kill the mobs where they spawn. I noticed with more than one fate the mobs actually spawned outside of the "fate ring" so these couple fates where I had to sync my level to participate I couldn't contribute at all. I would no longer be synced if I went close enough to attack the mobs and therefore couldn't contribute.
Suggestion: Increase fate radius or ensure that all mobs spawn withing the fate radius.
In ff3 aero and stone spells were actually white magic nukes so its not like they are breaking a trend by giving CNj offensive magic. At level 12 you don't need to be casting AoE's things die pretty fast. You shouldn't think of blizzard 2 as an AoE offensive really, think of it as similar to CNJ's fluid aura, a quick get away when mobs crowd you. At level 18 you get fire 2 which damages your target and all nearby targets to it so tell your friend to wait for fire 2.

As another quality of life adjustment that has been requested, I'm happy to let you all know that in patch 2.1 we will be making it possible to see the amount of gil you possess when shopping on the market boards.

We'll be making changes to the target priority order in patch 2.1, which should alleviate some of the issues where you accidentally target minions, pets, and other things when you want to target summoning bells, NPCs, and other important objects.
Specifically, targeting summoning bells, other objects, quest NPCs or monsters will be given targeting priority when pressing the F12 key or the confirm button on gamepad. This adjustment will also make it possible to target a summoning bell immediately by pressing F12 when you're near one. Similarly, we will also be fixing the bug where minions are selected regardless of your filter settings.
What i would love to see and im sure other DRG and MNKs would love too is to see "a clock marker" in the enemy target ring that displays on the ground.
So, you can know not only where is its front (or 12 o`clock) but you also could know where are the 9, 3, 5, and 7 o `clock are, being them marked as a smaller pointer than the 12 o`clock, so we know exactly when we truly are into flanks or rear of the target.
In conjunction with target priority, why not have certain windows pop up if you are within a certain radius rather than having to click?
For example, going near a summoning bell should open the retainer window. If you walk a certain radius away the window depops.
This could be used for other things like Market Board, Gathering Nodes, or even for certain shop NPCs who don't pop because there are too many player characters around (*cough* Rowena et al)
Would greatly enhance quality of life all around.
As a small suggestion that isn't really that important in the grand scheme of things, additional animations to go with the new lip-syncing feature to bring more life into conversations. The way I picture it is like this:
Say: Your character does simple hand gestures
Shout/Yell: Your character raises a hand up to his/her mouth as if to project his/her voice further.
Tell/Linkshell/Free Company/Party: Your character places a hand on his/her ear to listen to a linkpearl transmission, like in a few of the story mode cutscenes.
Such a thing shouldn't be too difficult to do since the vast majority can be done with existing animation assets.
1. The in game mail system is WAY TO RESTRICTIVE.
It only allows us to send mail to people on the friends list.
Please at least allow us to send mail to FC members as well.
2.Please allow us to invite people to our FC without having to stand infront of them, or making us add people to our friendlist first just to invite someone if they arent in the same zone.
3. Please add level markers to quest that we can currently see in our zone on the main map. The exclamations only have the name of the quest like "Kill 20 Rats...please fix it so it sais "(Lvl 20) Kill 20 Rats" It really makes leveling alt classes areal hard having to run from zone to zone to find quest suitable for our level.
Also add a general level range marker on each zone.
4. Please allow us to see what gear set has what gear equipped. MY armory is a mess trying to keep up with all my classes and who is using what gear.
5. Please let us open all inventory tabs at once instead of having to choose a different tab. This will make sorting items a lot easier. Allow us to do the same with retainers.
6. When depositing items into the FC bank please reduce the amount of times it asks us if we are sure we want to deposit this, its overkill. Allow us to right click an item and choose deposit into FC bank instead of having to drag and drop.
7. Please fix the timer on dungeons to where it stops if someone leaves the party. We have people leave a dungeon group and by the time a new person joins we have run out of time and cant complete the dungeon.
8. Please allow us to auto dismount a mount when attacking or interacting with objects/NPCs/ and gathering.
9. Please fix it so that when we are mounted and in a party it does not automatically decline party teleport. Allow us to still do it but we have to dismount first instead of auto cancelling it.
10. Please allow the main map to show us gathering spots like the mini map does when we use prospect skills. I personally find it hard looking at that little minimap and prefer the big map.
11. Please allow us to change a setting so we see ONLY our damage and not everyone elses. To many numbers flying around on the screen.
12. Please allow us to skip ANY cut-scene if we so choose or if not at least an auto scroll option.
13. Please allow us to open menus and character/inventory menus anytime instead of locking them out when talking to an NPC and so on.
14. Please allow us to hide our minion names so we cant see them unless we click on them.
15. Please allow us to mute battle music without muting other music.
16. Please prioritize our own damage over time markers on the enemy health bar to where our own ones appear first and are larger then the others so we know what we currently have applied on that enemy.
17. Please add chat bubbles when talking in /say. It does not feel like /say chat without bubbles.
16. Please make chocobo companions feel more...useful. They don't really seem worth leveling. Also leveling a choco companion is a grind....wel a lot worse of a grind.
17. Some zones could really use more aethernet points in them instead of just 1 per zone.

The Vesper Bay ferry price should be adjusted. It's silly to charge the airship price, making it the same cost to go from Ul'Dah to Limsa Lominsa and Vesper Bay to Limsa Lominsa.
I know this has probably already been said, but please, PLEASE, make the progression bar of FATEs appear when moving the cursor of the map on the relative circle. I'm sick and tired to run towards a FATE from the other side of the map and arrive only to see it ended...
Why is the linkshell size limit so far below the free company size limit? We have a linkshell that has many members from other FC in it, but the LS (the "purely social" channel mind you) is always full while the FCs (which have tended to be smaller, more coordinated groups) have miles of space.
Please at least bring the size of linkshells up to parity with FC's. Linkshell size was a pain in 1.0 too and I am sad that this was never fixed.
I was about to say that. I hope there are plans to make it so pets are considered "Friendly", either party members or Allies. I'd start healing or buffing pets if that was the case.Quote:

Please not if its not optional as in able to shut off the feature. If I happen to walk by a retainer, gathering node, mkt board I do not always want to click on it. Auto click would mean I need to reclick to unclick and then click again to get the target I actually intended on clicking in the first place, should it happen to be near one of those auto click targets. You may want Rowena, but the NPC beside her keeps getting selected because you are a smidgen to the left instead of to the right. NEEDS TO BE OPTIONAL.
Some of your wishes are already implemented Jibs. I highlighted stuff that is already as you suggest.
. "View gear" option is available under right click in the gear list.
There are flying text settings in the Config menu. Also battle display checkboxes.
There is currently an option to hide minion name unless we click on it. Check under NPC in the character config or system config, click the icon with the HP bar above its head on the config list. You can fine tune name visibility.

1. Im referring to mousing over an item and it tells you in the info box if its equiped in a current gear set. As a matter of fact just found a post where SE is saying they are doing that soon.
2. You cant filter out all other damage except your own. YOu can only make it all including yours disapear.
3. Found the minion one thatnks.
Different bardings for our non-chocobo mounts. Both bought from npc and obtained from special quest. Maybe even quests to make them available as companions.
What if it's important to me to target something unimportant according to the game? What if I just want to hit Confirm on my gamepad to target the first thing in front of me according to my filter settings? When is this thing going to obey the filter?
Priority 1: User's filter, all marked of equal priority, closest to farthest
Priority 2: Important objects (Works if nothing from the first group is found.)
Please make an option for this.

...Or just make it like this. I don't understand why this thing isn't being made to function logically. Convenience to me is something working how I tell it to, and then going the extra mile afterward.
tab target, this was highlighted several times during 1.0 and beta, they still did it like it was in XI, basically when you press tab it cycle through the targets that are FURTHEST away on the LEFT side of the screen, then RIGHT side, then closer, repeat.
This scheme is absolutely bonkers, I don't know why they made it like that, it makes no sense to target something far away when you are being attacked by something in your face.
About FATEs.
- Let us see FATE timer, progress and the number of participants when we mouseover it on the map
- Let the FATE mobs scale HP based on the number of participants in the case if there are too many. Maybe leave them as it is if there are less than 8 participants and increase with every player on top of it.
- Please deal with server and network lag impact on different AOE mechanics. Why the hell are we effected by these mechanics then we are visually totally in different place? It seems like the list of players effected is formed at one point in time and the actual effect is applied at the different one after a boss completing some animation. This is so much frustrating! Please start the animation preemptively so that the actual hit is made in the same point in time as the effected list is calculated!
- Please let us dye green items! Like those from Amdapor Keep. Never tried to dye darklight/higher level gear but they probably are also worth looking into.
- Let us tune party frames to split buffs from debuffs and filter out buffs cast by other players. As a healer I need to see debuffs, my buffs and HoTs on party members
- Add auto-dismount on: using actions, interracting with NPC/objects, Teleport... Do not block anything by mounting just dismount if the action can not be performed mounted.
- Increase the damned 1000 chars post length limit!!!!
- In the character stats window please add a tooltip to all stats showing the exact value of their influence. For example, spell cast speed should show the % value like 5% faster. (This will also uncover this stat is oh so useless as having it like 500 value shifts my Cure spell time from 2s to 1.98s)
- Let us heal players that are raised right away.
- Let the healers casting AOE heals mark a green area on the floor for other players just like damaging AOE does.
Suggestions from personal experience:
- Allow to skip the opening cutscene up to the point where you are asked why you became an adventurer (since cutscenes with questions to the player can't be skipped)
- Allow an option to hide pets and/or minions from your screen, making them invisible (at least in town, please).
- Implement FFXI's /ignorepet for dungeon raids, to not target them.
- Allow us to choose how many units of an item we want to buy from the Market Board. Often times I've been in need of an handful of units of one item but only found them in stacks for absurd prices.
1. better storage/inventory system
2. increase max stack amounts to 300-500
3. give option on marketboard to buy whole stacks or x amount of the stack
4. trapper DoL class focuses mainly on skinning monsters for thier skins/sinews/meats
5. option to craft using materials in ur storage instead of havin to spend 40mins scrolling through 2 retainers just to see if have the materials or not....
6. have storage units in houses that can only put certain materials in, for example... 1 for just wood/s, 1 for just ores, 1 for just food products
