God I wish this is true

Eureka doesn't suck now.
I get people have different preferences for what they like, but tons of people love that content. I'm one of them.
As to itsuckingbeing something you personally don't like, I'd say the best advice is to do it in small chunks. If you have some Gil to spend, get the chest piece items you can buy (either for 2 or 3 tokens that are drops from BA, which are not soulbound so you can buy them from the Market, you can trade them to the Au Ra vendor dude to the left of the lockpicker), which gives you some Elemental power and makes your attacks do a decent amount of damage in there. After that, Potions of Harmony are easy to make and the mats (and potions, generally) are cheap enough. If you have any friend that likes Eureka, they probably have or can get tons of the mats for you (they drop from FATE chests in either Pagos and Pyros or Pyros and Hydatos, I forget which), as this increases XP gain by 10%.
After that, look at your weekly Challenge Log. There are a couple entries for Eureka that give pretty good chunks of Eureka experience. If you do JUST THOSE (kill 20/40 of a specific element enemy at near your level) a week, you'll level up extremely efficiently in terms of time actually invested/in Eureka. Think of it like the difference between running an Expert once a day for five days vs chain running Experts in one day to cap tomes for the week. If you're willing to give it some time (Challenge Log resets every week), it would require you to be in Eureka the least amount of time while still leveling.
The nerf after SB alone boosted both XP gain, HP, healing done, and damage dealt by +300% (the Echo buff you have in there), so it's already a breeze compared to what it originally was.
I like Eureka, but Pagos should be shortened just a tad. It's a real slog, especially on a second character or playthrough, knowing what's to come.
Eureka = fun if you have a group/people to play with.
Boring when solo.
Grab EXP bonus (fairy and pot) and just AOE spam the hell out of the first zone for quick 30-40min challenge log completion..
Slow progress.. but it will get you to max level.. with minimum effort and time spent..
I feel like Eureka is... basically fine(?) if played among friends, but there seem some low-hanging fruit by which to improve late-joiners to have a decent time in there.
I would love to see experience gains from kills be doubled but half that total amount be split n ways according to the party size (of those engaged and nearby when the mob died). Such would decrease the punishment for soloing (be that somehow by choice or, more often/likely, because there's no party [slots] available among others of similar enough level not to screw over your progression).
Atop that, just... blanket increase experience gains by at least 25%.
Additionally, just make it easier for players to play with others whose levels are further spread apart, such as by halving the power variance across levels (e.g., starting at the power equal to half-way to maximum and spreading the remainder proportionately), and for hit/miss chance to be unaffected by level difference, so that players can more quickly/freely move to more locations around a given zone.
Ideally, though, I'd also just want to see some small revisions to the Logos actions (including less dependence on the passive ones and perhaps making them not take up a slot / free to swap about) and to release those from the start. And I'd like to make the Elemental Wheel offer more than just a 'strong to... | weak to...' mechanic that really only works to entice hunting in single-element areas and to needlessly limit movement.
Eureka sucks by design. You cannot make it not suck. You can only embrace the suck. Some people will find that they like the suck because they haven't experienced the suck before or anywhere else, and that's their right.
Eureka is like like life, except you can choose not to sign up for Eureka. And at the very end, there's some unique experiences to be had, but mostly as a FUCK YOU to anyone who decided that they'd rather not bother.
For level grinding, I'd recommend playing warrior. You get an ability called Raw Intuition, which when used will heal you for every mob you hit for 6 seconds. Raw Intuition is on a 25 second cooldown. So what you can do is you can mass pull packs of enemies, and then when you go below 25% HP you can hit that ability and your next AoE will heal you to full. Use damage mitigation abilities like Rampart or Reprisal in between uses of Raw Intuition. This makes you very survivable. You can window the game and watch youtube or play Granblue Fantasy while levelling up.
I don't wanna say Eureka is easy... but it really isn't that hard either. It requires work and commitment, but any good reward should be like that. All you need is to join a FATE party or just do your weekly challenge log by yourself. XP starts rolling in. If the instances are dead on your DC, come over to Primal. There's usually always at least one party running around.
It's one of the few things in game that still requires proper dedication and teaming up with people.
But that's all there is to it: Gotta work on it.
