What is your biggest wish for endwalker that you know probably won't happen?

BIG WISH: ONE STORE! Only one!

At the moment, you have 2 ways to purchase things: through the moogle store and your account. It gets very confusing when you look at it:

• Gametime-> Account
• Skip Potions -> Moogle Store
• Retainers -> Account
• Glamour Gear -> Moogle Store
• Name change -> Account
• Phantasia -> Moogle Store
• Server-Transfer -> Account
• Eternal Bond -> Moogle Store

Can we have only ONE store to purchase all that stuff? Accessable within FFXIV (to preview glamours on your character before buying it) and with a internet browser. Maybe adding paypal as option.

And it would be nice to reactivate the veteran rewards.

Also, I 100% agree with Graha being a bad character versus The Exarch. From being a leader of a dying world to a dumb shy fanboi, such a waste of a character.

Best comparison for a previous FF character that had similar changes is Yuna between FFX and FFX-2. In FFX she had the weight of the world on her shoulders, knew her entire life what it meant, and gave up being herself and put the world first. In FFX-2 she acts completely different, no longer having that weight on her shoulders and being allowed to finally be herself. G'raha went through the same thing, and it didn't take until he was back on the Source for him to finally relax. Also, we have to consider the time frame between 5.3 and 5.4, it has likely been months since the end of 5.3, allowing him to go back to being the goofball he was in the CT story.

I suspect based on the Role Quests and the subsequent Void Quests that they're setting up more story to take place on the First... although it'll probably be post 6.0, if not an expansion in its own right?

To be fair, I preferred the seriousness of ARR (I'm replaying it atm). People get killed and you feel some tension. NPCs get put to the sword the second the get tempered for instance. It's quite brutal when you think about it. And in ShB all beastmen are now in the Best Friends Club. I was really disappointed by that.

On the other hand I find wanting a story to be 100% gritty kinda too edgy, sorry. These characters (the good ones anyway) are modeled after human behaviour. No human is 100% serious or sad all the time. Otherwise it's probably a depression.

And writing a always dark and depressing story just tires out readers. Also, you need moments of high to put the low moments into context. If you write a story where nobody is in danger or everyone dies you just stop caring.

I agree with the Y'shtola thing to 100%, though.
I mean, Jesus fucking Christ. I like her but can we please stop with the fake death scenes so we can put them into a teaser trailer?

Lastly, everyone who dislikes G'raha is just a big emotionless meanie. ; ;

I would like to see submarines and airships unlocked in a way that anyone who owns so much as an apartment or house can build and use one. In place of taking away submarines and airships, give FC special dungeons or trials or FC vs FC (PVP) as a way to lure people into FC.

Sigh, one could dream… just hate seeing crafting materials locked behind FCs xP

My biggest wish for Endwalker is that people stop threading about what they think needs to be changed to make the game better for them.
And that instead of complaining that a gameplay doesn't suit them, that they learn to master the game.

-Lots of effort into healers and tanks, making them have dps rotations and support, with return to lost popular playstyles. Complete overhaul of jobs so that they have diverse kits and potencies adjusted to tanks/healers being at most 25% less than a dps. Cross class returned, but banned from extreme, savage and ultimate. Skills that were moved up levels returned back down and something new or upgrade replacing them later
-higher difficulty across the board. Twice or thrice come ruin added to most fights and ilvl lower to stop mechanic facerolling. msq and content locked behind a reasonable expectation of skill level for the level. Hall of the novice updated and made mandatory. Big potency buffs locked at the end of each expansion's X.55 msq. Expecting a bare minimum of competence and experience at endgame isn't unreasonable
-Glamour plates updated to 1 for each job, plus a crafter, gatherer and 1 freebie and able to be used anywhere. Glamour unlocked, less cloth armour, it takes into account tails, ears etc
-relic starting at the same time as savage
-job quests for all jobs
-instanced housing and/or the ability to upgrade smalls and mediums to large. removed pillars
-no more progression loss in eureka, bozja or deep dungeon. All it does is waste time.
-solo ultimates and other similar challenges for glamour locked behind static required content. Players should not be unable to do content because they have an inconsistent play schedule or cant find a group even if they can put the skill and effort in when they can play. All glamour is now available somewhere in the game with none of it locked behind past feast rewards or other temporary content.
-character creation improvements. Auri actually draconic and females taller, hrothgars no longer needing fantasia for haircuts etc. Emotes unlocked between races where possible so you can customise your WOL's personality a bit into how they act. Not every miqote is a feisty anime girl, nor every roe a boisterous ham.
-story ditches zenos and fandango and gets some decent antagonists with plenty of screentime. The twins either die or go away. Graha stops being so fanboyish and starts being a bit more like the exarch. Thancred retires. The scions interesting B team members become relevant again and join the main group
-Cash shop closed and items made available to everyone. Toast being cash shop and not a reward for learning the dwarven drinking song lyrics is appalling.

- Remove the extra crafting and gathering skills that aren't used for anything. They did a lot of this already, now it just needs to be finished. Not all classes need the hotbar full of buttons. I craft and gather to relax, not to think about rotation and stuff.

- PVP that's actually interesting, has a fair and non-manipulatable rating system, with attainable rewards

- Less shoehorning of characters into specific color schemes and styles. So much stuff for ninja is purple for some reason. A lot of the ranged physical DPS helmets are frilly hats -- great for bard and maybe dancer but not so much for machinist.

- Exchange the random gear in dungeons for a treasure chest with that specific item like (X leg gear) so we can gear up alts without having to run a dungeon 100 times.

- Really just make all gear wearable by all characters with the specific attributes dependent on their class.

The thing is, again, no ones asking for everyone to die. We’re asking for consequences. Please tell me how it makes sense that the expansion with the highest stakes so far and what’s supposed to be the darkest story yet is the only expansion where no one dies, there’s no consequences for the protags, and the one filled with the most humor.If we know everything is just going to keep going our way, it just makes the story utterly dull. I’m not playing this game so i can watch some slice of life anime. I’m playing it because it’s a final fantasy game with a final fantasy story. Every single other ff game in the series has had the protagonists lose in some way or have some form of consequences. Some of them have even had the antagonists win. I can’t help but think it’s partially due to the community. People just can’t seem to bear the thought of their favorite character kicking the bucket and so they spam things on the likes of here or twitter or reddit and SE would think it’s bad for business to kill them off. The main reason i can’t stand graha is just the amount of plot armor he has tied to him rivaling that of Yshtola. And also the fact he was a big part of 5.3 which was by far my least favorite patch. I don’t even regard his 5.4+ character as himself really because it just feels like someone’s forced in OC lmao.
