What's the story behind your name?

richter is the assassin in hotline miami and my favorite character from the first game and hanz is just and easy to say name. Ideally it would be judge Hanz. Sigma5 doesnt mean anything.

Misutoraru (From a game or anime) a friend of mine introduce me this character because we share the same real name, been using this in all my MMO since I learn about it
FFXIV require a surname and I dont remember seeing any lore friendly naming thread back in 1.0 (probably there I just wasnt aware), my character was a Lancer and I am a big fan of Valkyria Chronicles

My Forum name: Something I had since grown up in High School. I was just looking for something that stuck and here I am.

Xiaomu - I always liked the name since I first heard it in Project X Zone.

Xiang - A name I always tend to use when creating custom characters, mostly in Koei Warriors games.

when i was like 10 years old i had a name that an alien in a book said it was zugbop
my cousin started using it for his online accounts so i had to make a different one. probably spent like 10 mins... zug... zig... bop... big? pig? pigzig?
since then i never changed it in my whole life

I was watching a movie with Sean Bean in it and then later I heard Estinien talk and I realized that hearing the name Sophia out of Estinien's mouth would be sexy, like Sean Beans accent sexy bc they both have sexy voices that id like to hear more
also, i was an elezen at one point which is why i dont have a lalafell lore friendly name

My character's first name was a result of randomization of the character names in character creation due to her originally being a female Viera; the name "Thracie" showed up. Considering I didn't want my character's name to be strictly a Viera name; I had made it in my little headcanon that Thracie had left the wood, feeling as if something was calling to her leave, but due to desiring to keep the name her mother had given her at birth, her first name remained as it is out of sentimentality.

But due to her no longer being apart of the wood, she abandoned her last name (the tribe name, Eryut) and had taken up the name "Treebow". Again, out of sentimentality to her sisters in the wood; "Tree" as a reminder of the forest and "bow" as the bow was a common weapon to use by her mother, although Thracie herself was more adept at using more close range combat; being a WAR, which was the first class I had chosen for her, but once leaving the wood she had taken up the art of stealth and became a prominent NIN.

Of course outside of headcanon reasons, I wanted a name that could fit any race in case I felt the itch to fantasia... which I certainly had multiple times! Will return to the Viera roots though as a male version in which case headcanon for the name might be tweaked a little bit ^.^

Ritsuko is a name I would have given a daughter if I had one. Sonoda is my actual last name because I couldn't be bothered trying to make one up.
