The amount of people teasing and trolling OP in the start of the thread and the amount whom throughout the thread have put people down for not using the essences. Don't try and act as though they are poor poor victims when they are actively trashing other people for how THEY play.

You chose to play a way that hurts the run and drags down the rest of your alliance whether you enjoy hearing it or not. Play leisurely in a single player game all you want no one cares. In a team-based setting though don't cry when your teammates don't enjoy you slowing them down because you're lazy or stingy.

I don't get what's so hard to get a few essences? You use one and it's gonna stay until you change class or leave the instance.

I didn't really run just got tired of hearing the stubbornness. In reality it's the price you play to play a game online. If you truly want to speedrun then gather 23 other friends and run it who cares. If it's done through party finder then that changes everything. No one and I repeat no one owes anything in this game period. blank. period. If no one uses essences so be it if they do so be it. Who cares it a game. That is all it is a game. You know entertainment purposes leisure time etc. Why do people really treat this as life or death look at how you are acting. Not everyone wants to farm all the time. That is what I originally was talking about for crying out loud. But then things get picked apart by the online community and this is what you get. I enjoy ff14 always have always will. At the end of the day I don't know you and you are a faceless person at the end of a screen. So why get all bent out of shape? As the saying goes JUST DO YOU!

You are not hurt because it takes an extra 15minutes, I get that it is a pain when u want efficient farm. But if you want a faster run you can go get one in pf, which is what I will do at some point. I will play this MMO however I please within ToS. I am not the one crying here. You are the one who tried the angle of being victimised for your playstyle. And now you are again giving others grief for how they play. Don't fling sh*t if you can't take it back. This MMO is the most "leisurely" one out there. If you want super hardcore community this is not the place to look for it.

No, everything I've said here has been correct both mathematically and logically. Farming for hours to get essences isn't going to "save me time," it's going to cost me hours of farming essences, while not shortening my DR runs to any significant degree. That's reality. It's you and yours trying to use "mental gymnastics" and flimsy logic in order to dance around that fact.

My only take away from your posts is a lot of your sense of self worth seems to be tied up in this game. This hilarious little rant about strength and weakness really paints an interesting picture of you.

But I'm not here to fix you. Continue completely overreacting to what people do in this game, and continue with your emotionally driven personal attacks on parts of the community that completely undermine any point you might have had. It's funny, though, because the people on your side of this were trying to establish some kind of moral high ground, and you've basically been tearing it to pieces. Thanks for that. ;)

Well if thats the case, Ill just sack myself into the boss then not rez. You shouldnt get upset over it, its just a game.

It's not like I said anything bad about anyone. Once you pick apart something that is when everyone gets into shambles and cause a uproar. That is all this thread has become just because some people play a certain way that mainly doesn't effect anyone else. If you aren't dying, messing up mechanics then wth is the problem? Like people just lose their mind over dumb stuff its just a game for crying out loud but they expect you, me and everyone else to play like them or it isn't good enough. I rather play with friends and people like you. By the way it seems I would hate for others like that to be teaching they wouldn't have the patience and would berate people over a simple mistake that is the vibe I am getting

I could clear the content without you. You and the rest are carrying nothing. You feel slighted because we don't play to make things faster for YOU. Why should I? Who exactly are you to me and why should I give a damn? Nobody. If every person in the raid didn't bother using an essence we would clear just fine. Esp now many of us have stacks of medals to up our dps even more. You are not needed, you are not carrying anyone. You make the runs faster! Yes absolutely. But don't act like you are some poor sacrifice for my benefit, woe is you carrying me. I asked nothing of you, I don't care if you are using an essence, I don't care if you spent half the run dead because you can't do the mechanics well. I care that I had a nice time in the duty. That's it.

The fact you think it's going to cost you "hours" to get clusters is beyond me and makes me believe you're truly ignorant on how to get them. All the best to you though.

I'm not attempting to victimize myself at all here, I never really ever ran DR, I'm just telling how I see it: you're happy knowing you're not contributing anywhere near as much as you could because you refuse to buff yourself, drag the rest of your alliance down, and complain when people who put in the effort in consideration of the time of their fellow party members and their own too complain about it.

I can't even compare it to not using consumables in harder content because essences are a lot, lot more impactful.

They are impatient to get what they want at the end of the day. So they get pissy at people they see as an obstacle to that goal. I understand that much. And they can grumble all they want to friends! Not a problem. Just don't take it out on other people for not playing the way you want. It just reeks of babyrage and entitlement. Play however you like so long as it is within ToS they can get stuffed. My FC mate hates to run any new content with randoms because of people like this with no patience at all.

They can solve their own problems. Jus do you and ignore their ranting. I would say if looking at this forum post is also too upsetting just ignore it and carry on playing w your mates :) I have said before this forum is a very small part of this community and it is the more trolly and argumentative lot as well.
