You are just as wrong as they, in demanding that others teach what they know. Respect is a two way street. They have no obligation to teach you anything until you pay them and they agree to do the job, then you can call it a responsibility. But a stranger in a group where on the duty finder screen it tells you what you will be expected to do when you choose to enter? Neither of you has any responsibility other than to do the job you signed up for when you clicked "join" to enter the queue. If you can't do the job you agreed to do on that screen, then yes people have a right to be upset with you.
