When new primals are released, will SMN get new egi?

You know, this will make the SMN job an extremely versatile job if they do get every egi version of each primal. Dat depth for SMN's will make them very valueable. But i read somewhere that Yoshi didn't want any hybrid jobs/class/watever, which ended up confirming that there will not be any red mages cuz of that reason.

Maybe they will add Pheonix and his lvl 50 skill will be the ability to res all party members when they die? Like a pre-cast and when you all die you have a certian % to be revived by the Pheonix Egi like almost every FF? OMG! that would be awesome!

sadly i could see white mages screaming bloody murder that summoner would be OP however if the summon was able to cast raise at the cost of its summon life and a percentige of the summoners life i think it could ballence out


the one egi i want to see is a zodiark egi :D i remember him from 12 and he was epic :D

I really do hope they add more egi, and I want them to be obtained ONLY when you beat the HM or Story version of the fight. I.e. if they add shiva as a level 50, NM fight, then beat it, unlock it.

As mentioned previously, new egi will be added after a level cap increase, and we'll be sure to provide more details when that time comes!

you tease us with your egi knowlege D: most have guessed the next 3 are shiva leviavin and rumith but what of the other gods :O our thirst for knowlege in the ainchent art of summoning will never end :D

It'll be interesting to see how these new egi will be implemented as. We already have a tank, spellcaster and attacker. Could possibly be a support, enfeebling and secondary spellcaster as their types maybe?

Separate but somewhat related, will arcanists and scholars also be in line to receive additional pets?

What about elementals? I miss those guys, with their 50%ish -pdt. Sucked hard core trying to kill one with straight melee in ff11. Go falcor!!

As far as we know, goblins and Qiqirn don't have primals. Nothing that's been hinted at, anyways. More likely than not, Shiva's beast tribe will be the Gigas. They're in the game and we know that her tribe are physically large and from the north.

Yes I stand corrected on the Odin remarke after doing the Odin quest he is regarded as an Elder Primal. And, just because there has been no mention of a Primal for the QiQirn or Goblin tribes does not mean they will not have one, I would like to hope we can get something brand new in 'Primal' front from these 2 tribes, or at least a primal from XII lore as I found those summons to be quite nice (plus we are already seeing one won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't completed the main story yet though :) )

They are not "Gods." They may be worshipped as such, but that's like worshipping the Sun and calling it a "God."

There are other possible primals. Good King Moogle Mog XIV is technically one, as is Odin, and is strongly hinted at as coming in the 2.1 patch.

We have yet to hear a THUD of Alexander yet, but he will surely come.

Bahamut waits for us deep, deep underground.

They have released models of Fenrir, who is associated with Darkness, but he may not come in egi-form. Nor will we get a Mog-egi, though that'd be cute.

We already have Carbuncle, who in typical FF form would be the "Primal of Light." Here, he's a spirit that shares himself freely with any arcanist -- how awfully generous of him!

FFXIII gave us Brynhildr, who also appears as a World name, so this may suggest a form of Primal, but Brynhildr was a way to not have to use Ifrit for FFXIII and as we have Ifrit in FFXIV, her place in this game is not assured.

Other "primals" are hinted at in the storyline and Job quests, but for the sake of spoilers I will not mention them. The Summoner storyline talks about them, and one is mentioned after the credits when you complete the story in the Praetorium.

I actually REALLY want this for SCH pets. Reskinning to look like something other than a fairy. The elementals would be nice, or even an Imp. Something less...fairy.

It's already been stated by the devs that the Moogle King is not a primal - but rather an actual ultra-powerful Moogle (need time to find reference)

Seriously though. Doomtrain SMN class mount. Please. I want a train mount. Please Se. Please.

I can't wait for them to release more, I love summoners through out the FF series. I only wish they had a completely different move set compared to the scholars they just seem a bit rushed and bland.
