ALL relic quest progress lost...

i lost my quest and it restart from the beginning, i was on titan fight

Relic progress lost after server crashed. Turned in Rod, on Chimera step, server crashed 5 minutes later and now I'm back on the rod turn-in step with no rod in inventory.

I was up to Garuda (HM) fight and lost all my progress on Bard Relic Bow.

I completed the titan fight for the final Key Item. Went and talked to Gerolt and after he reset progress to the beginning of the Curtana Quest. I did not cancel or change relic quest. All my Key Items are gone and I never could turn in my oil for the final step.

Just clarifying about my case, i was up to the titan fight in my relic quest, i had the other two key items you get from the Hard Mode primals. I had taken a break of Titan fights, to do a few castrum meridianum runs, and i was done with the third when i noticed the quest had disappeared, so i dont know exactly when it might have happened but it must have been that night (10/06/13) just not exactly sure about the time.

Details: Was in the middle of fighting D'horme Chimera for the Alumina Salts when suddenly I got a Duty Failed message despite the group still being around. It spawned me dead and I teleported back to my home Aethernet. When I went to check my map to remember where the Chimera was, I noticed that my quest was different. My quest had reset back to when I needed to give Gerolt the Erudite's Picatrix Of Casting + 2 Savage Might III.
Time : Roughly around 12pm CMT today.

I had spent allot of gil obtaining the item I needed and really do not want to have all my time and gil wasted. I sent in a ticket about it but was told that there was nothing they could do. When I went to the chat support to get further help, I waited an hour and a half only to make it the 1st spot then be told that there was an error. I hope there is a way to put me back on the right quest that I was at.

After defeating Garuda (Hard), I realized I no longer had the relic weapon quest. However, I'm not sure how long I've been missing this quest. I know that I definitely had the Garuda (Hard) quest at some point, as I have a screenshot of the quest objective. I recently re-accepted the quest chain as I don't know how long it'll take for this issue to be resolved. I have proof that I've defeated Garuda (hard), as I have Garuda's Talons in my inventory from winning a greed roll.

Hey Aesthphron, I was just wondering if you've received any type of insight as to this matter. Is there any talk of maybe somehow getting our progress back, without getting rolled back and losing progress we might have done these days while waiting (for example, I would like to get back to the point in the mission where all i have to do is beat Titan and get the oil but i wouldn't want to lose the Darklight pieces I've gotten AFTER the glitch due to a rollback.)

Or if we're just going to have to redo it all (hopefully not.)

Any type of info would be nice.

Relic Quest Progress deleted after maintenance
I've posted a ticket in game, reported directly via email, and now this. Only got an automated response via email that completely didn't address the issue, haha.

As the title suggests, before the most recent maintenance - Oct. 1 - I had the "A Relic Reborn (Curtana)" progress all the way through Garuda and up to Titan. Post-maintenance, I logged in to do Titan with my Linkshell and the quest was completely gone from my journal.

I have no idea if it's caused by maintenance or not, and I did have about 11 active levequests - if that makes a difference - so I'm a little saddened to see that I lost all this progress.
I did the whole quest myself: crafted the item, converted the materia after 100% spiritbond (x2), defeated Chimera, Hydra, Ifrit, Garuda. Needless to say it was MANY, MANY hours of work that is now disappeared.
Defeating the monsters is not a big deal to me, but the item and materia I crafted/melded from scratch cost over 200K G if I want to just replace THAT! Not to mention the time spent getting parties together, etc.

Please help me resolve this issue. I love and enjoy this game VERY much. It is by far the best Final Fantasy game I've ever played. For the most part, this has been the only hiccup.

This will be my 3rd and final attempt to get this resolved before I just give up so I hope someone can help.

Please contact me if there is anything else I can do to help fix this issue.

I lost relic quest before hydra

Occurrence:
I went to unlock hydra at the Halatali Area. I unlocked it and ended up walking in solo somehow. When I tried to abandon the duty it abandoned my quest. I could not leave the area nor teleport out so I went and let Hydra kill me.

I went to Gerolt (the NPC quest giver in North Shroud) to pick the quest back up and he gives me the initial quest. This is horrible. I pray I may have this reset. I did pick the quest up and did the first part of it hoping it'd help, but it wants a materia enhanced longbow again.. that was 100,000 + gil. :( So I'm stuck. I have proof I was on the Hydra part held by one of my hired retainers. Thank you for reading this, and please help!

I wanted to see Hydra but not knowing how to get out without death. Abandoned quest to try to get out but not only did i not get out, i also lost all progress made for the quest line. I tried to talk to the npc again to see if it would help me get back to where i was, but no it made me start all over. I still have the "Unfinished Stardust Rod" as proof that i made it that far into the quest. I have too low amount of gil to try buy the weapon and materias to meld again T^T

I dont really want to start all over again. Bad enough to buy it again, but people are not the nicest in the world when it comes to having to run the dungeons.

Steps: Noticed after killing garuda relic quest didn't log the entry, so tried again another 5 times, still no progress and log shows ifrit is the last one killed, but the status text says I still need ifrit, but I clearly have both ifrit and garuda weps and this is my first relic quest.

Same thing happened to me today, lost my relic quest after I abandoned an Ifrit instance.

I was on Garuda Hard Mode when members of the pick up started to abandon it. I abandoned the quest instead of leaving the duty finder. I went back to the NPC and all he had was the initial quest again.

Had just done the AK portion of the quest, and went back to get the Unfinished Thyrus. I got the quest asking you to kill the mobs in the mines but no Unfinished Thyrus was in my inventory. I went back to talk to the blacksmith to see if he would give it to me, but when I talked to him again it reset the quest. Lost all progress.

Can we please get an update on the status of this! its kind of discouraging to continue play

I wondered into the Hydra instance solo tried to leave without dying so I tried to teleport and return was unsucessfull so I abandoned the quest hoping to end the instance and that fails. Then I died lost all of my progression and I have the unfinished Veil of Wiyu in my armoury so I went back to Gerolt hoping to pick up where I left off and now it says I have to start all over. It cost 80k gill to get Savage Materia III Erudite's Picatrix of Casting and I don't have the gill to start all over please do something about this.

Edit: So I've moved servers and now I'm on Exodus. I hope this does not get in the way of any fixes.
