FFS breasts are an obvious physical characteristic. They're visible in changing the body form even in clothing (unless very baggy clothing)

A guy's 'junk' really isn't. Unless he has a massive erection, it's pretty much not going to be visible in any way unless you are wearing an eorzean dongsling, as reddit coined the term.

Umm, actually, when wearing something other than baggy pants, guys DO have noticeable bulges. And most certainly when wearing brief-like clothes or swimming suits. Doesn't mean it's obscenely huge, but we most certainly are not flat.

Considering men are rather small when they are in "stand by mode", it's not all that surprising...

On a side note, what is weird is that subligars are made of leather yet they are still really flat... Don't you think an armoursmith would mould the leather to make more of a cup? I look at my character wearing a subligar and think wow his junk must be crussshedd!

This will never be changed because SE has always been scared of the male form (look at the older games, even the men look like women) but I can still wish...

I totally agree there should be a slider. Just like with the breast size. As someone said why would you put either of these at anything but full? But it should be an option.

Oh man this thread cracks me up!, I do agree that the swimsuits make it more obvious that there was a downplay on male anatomy, but admittedly the female breasts do not carry as much of a social conservative view as the male penis does,but.... be the first square, I agree have a slider, LOL

I love how almost no one in this thread has seemed to realize that OP meant this to be a direct parody of the catgirl butt threads.

I agree the swimsuit was the biggest ..er smallest humiliation of them all. Even cotton tights show some identifiable difference between male and female though it just looks like a diaper under there. Appearing as if he has female anatomy or rather that the character is doing a marvelous tuck job is kinda odd if he isn't trying to pull off having female anatomy so it would be great if SE fixed this.

I understand they do not wish to be vulgar but geeze, SE has no problem understanding how to make giant breasts, npc prostitutes that are always bent forward and wiggle their butts in the air as if they were in heat, horny Lalafel fishermen, Roegaydn men that graphically define female anatomy & sex in blacksmithing terms and so much more! I don't see adding male definition as being out of line here! ;D

I agree! Boys need to have their bits! Girls get boobs.... except for me, I'm a lalafell... but still! The bulge is a defining physical characteristic and not something to be ashamed of! It's not like it's vulgar, half my toy animals as a kid had a little bump underneath them if they were meant to be male, my wrestling action figures had small noticeable bulges.

Then I grow up, start playing a game with more profanity and sexuality than a late night MTV show, and my male characters have Ken doll crotches...

It's funny as a parody but there's no reason it can't be taken seriously too. :) Both since it would be more realistic, and also because why should guys be the only ones to get opposite sex eye candy?

if you are looking to get sexual stimulated by your character you need more help than SE can give you. Sorry but its true. I understand the butt thread sort of because right now some female characters look more male with narrow backsides but this... I just can't understand.

For me (its not really a big deal, just something I noticed when wearing the bathing suit) its nothing sexual about it. Its anatomically wrong. So everyone saying its all sexual or that people in favor "need help" should stop assuming this is the case.

Male chars do need a package. They simply look like they have nothing at all. I don't play one, but it's still obvious and makes me sigh occasionally.

The fact that theres not even the tiniest bit of curve on groin, making me think hes a reverse gender.
The fact that I have NO nipples at all. Non existant. Wasn't born with any.
The fact that I have no butt. Its just not there. My torso pretty much terminates into a pair of legs. Maybe a more accurate term would be equivilant to a frog's butt.

yes this summer event was a sad sight indeed. I snatched my swimsuit off the second I saw it. No junk in the trunk or engine. No nipples, no body hair, no muscle tone. Truly embarrassing lol.

we discussed the need for a slider for these in character creation at length lol, oddly SE let the thread run til forums went down but I can't remember if they ever got back to us on this issue, can imagine why :/

there is nothing there

As a guy, trying out the new speedos from the bombard ash event...I was kinda sad. I knew that my character had a flat ass and all but damn that speedo really made me wish there was a badonkadonk slider for males/females. Just makes my character look topheavy.

The lack of bulge in the front didn't bother me as much, thats what Saints row IV is for. Sex appeal bar lol.

I was kinda surprised Elezen didn't have a muscle slider like other races had. Chest hair options wouldn't be too bad either. I prolly wouldn't use it myself since there is so much subligar and the thought of all the roe's with their happy trails would just haunt my dreams forever.

More Facial hair options would of been nice though.

All of the inhabitants of Hydaelyn are secretly female. Didn't you know? And muscle tone is done via normal map, not diffuse maps. More a lighting trick than a shading trick.

Saints Row is the only game I know of that has ever done this right.

Lmao, you guys are funny, I've never noticed theirs nothing there as I've never stared at my characters crotch lol. I fear now that I seen this in forums, I wont be able to stop noticing it. More facial hair and body hair would be nice though, along with muscles, Soon as I saw my char shirtless I was like.. "I'M SO UN MANLY LOOKING!!"
